Posting this for anyone who is not understanding the filtration power of an industrial respirator is capable of being used to help reduce inhalation exposure to airborne biological particles. Take that as you will, or don't. These work in combination and/or independently to other interventions.

My takeaway here is that drones can be rigged to paint over things. Maybe we can use this to paint the rooftops white for more reflection. Paint a windmill propeller black to allow birds to see and avoid it. Even with the talk of asteroids, a solution involved paint. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLA6...

A couple summers ago I modified two pasta jars and lids to create a way to transport small plants in my bike backpack so that they wouldn't get damaged bringing them somewhere, like as a gift or something. Plants are the real green (not money).

I have it rigged to fly (aka hang) and also to stand (the extra 3 wire legs). Hoping it will be able to be displayed on Tuesday at a local creative reuse exhibit. This is my 4th recycled X-Wing Starfighter so far. X-panding my collection, X-panding my fleet. Re-X-cycling!

It's fun looking back on my first few attempts of break sculptures. Was always looking for ways to dispose of the plastic packages that would accumulate and finally figured out they would make the basis for shapes and forms, while also thinking about weight and balance

Throwback to when I tried to turn my pepsi take out bottle into a boba fett ship and tried to get those wing joints to be turnable with two additional bottle cap rims on the sides. I attached cool side wings with tape but they got lost in a shuffle move around at the art storage / workspace. Fun WIP

A pepsi bottle turned into a space ship sculpture with added materials like tape, plastic bits and bobs, taped and glued with paper mache, and carefully cut plastic lids to create scifi looking shapes. It sits on a wet plastic white bag with a mixing tray at the right edge of the picture, in the tray is a homemade glue with a plastic fork mixer, an x-acto knife can be seen partly off screen with a tin can holding carefully cut, dry pieces of newspaper to be used for the artwork. This is my Canada goose sculpture. It was the first sculpture that I sold last spring. When you support this kind of work, it also embeds a lot of essential plastic capture and sequester work that very few other people are doing effectively.

I’m working on making the pose from the small gold character on the right side, Hiyo Ono from Floor Kids, but as I make the larger one it’s going to a different chracter, Noogie from Floor Kids. It will also be able to be posed inverted on its hand like the original in gold.

This is the bboy sculpture I am working on for OG legendary bboy Mikey Ice who has become an archivist of old footage of bboy and bgirl break dance pioneers and OGs. My sculptures are often based off of an original pose (the one on the left) but I try to find at least one other way to reorient it

Adding a some kind of metal buckle to allow me to hang the X-Wing “replica” sculpture as a decoration. The metal pieces come from an old bike fastener for a handle bar dingaling as well as a keychain trinket that had no real purpose. Will likely fasten with duck tape but maybe some screws too
