You’ve got to be kidding me. What the actual $:@& is wrong with these people?

Exciting news I’ve been keeping secret - I’m going to be a grandma in February! My first baby is having my first grandbaby. I’m ridiculously excited!

It was almost impossible! I was so happy when it finally let me delete.

Update: she has 4 babies and lives under the neighbor’s deck. I’ve seen video of her feeding them. So sweet!

Bobcat: Everyone else: scare it away or it will keep coming here…. Me: Kitty! Here kitty kitty kitty! (All joking aside photos were taken safely from inside the house)

Let me try that again - do not wear new-ish shoes to Nashville, TN - blisters will occur. Seeing (not searing, geesh) Billy Idol in a few!

Something different today: a woodpecker at the park I work at. Isn’t it pretty?

Haven’t been online much, but here is a Thomas photo taken by my son to make up for it :)

Lily had her spa day today. Fresh haircut and all. Now she’s sleeping off the meds we have to give her to make her groomable…

WTH is happening? Lily never shares her bed with Thomas!

Disgusting. But I wouldn’t expect anything but disgusting from him.

I plugged my ears like a two year old. Night have sang “lalalalala” a little too. It went on for way too long. It was gross.

It’s a hard day. I avoided the news again today but some things are filtering through and it is depressing.

Thank you for this - it helps the feelings of dread that i have had all morning…

I FINALLY got Twitter to delete my account! I feel freeeeeeeee for the first time in a while now. (Also, if you are having issues with yours and you have multiple devices, try another device. My ipad would not delete, but my phone did!)

That’s crazy then. I don’t post pics of myself other than my previous profile pic which was me and hubby.

Thank you, I needed that. I can’t get to the beach for another week, so this was my fix!

I got put on this one too! But I did make a profanity laced reply the other day, so I’m going to assume that is why?

I didn’t point out the salute and I’m on the same list.

Thomas is chilling - not a care in the world today. I however, wish I was a house cat, especially today.

Nothing to see here, just Wrigley after I shared some cheese with him.

Haven’t watched, keep scrolling past any mention of his name or what he’s doing. Many more photos of him on here than I expected. Gross.

It looks like the list maker and the list are now gone, so nothing to worry about. I have so many more followers here than I ever did at the other place so it didn’t bump me too badly.

99% of apps sell info - getting rid of one isn’t going to stop the flow of info. China knowing my shopping habits is not national security, and I guarantee you they already know, even though I don’t use TikTok.

000

JonettaC 🇺🇦🇩🇪🇺🇸 🌊 💙 @jonettac.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

Oh I do, but the permissions on there are pretty much the same as X - and don’t tell me X isn’t selling info too. You are’t going to stop the flow of info from banning one app.

100

JonettaC 🇺🇦🇩🇪🇺🇸 🌊 💙 @jonettac.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

This is true, but I highly doubt a tik tok ban stops even half of that info from being sold. I don’t really use tik tok, so I don’t have a dog in this fight, I just think all the china noise is ridiculous.

JonettaC 🇺🇦🇩🇪🇺🇸 🌊 💙 @jonettac.bsky.social · 20/01/2025

X has nearly the same permissions, as do many other apps. Really, though, back to my question. How is China going to hurt me with my info?
