Under a Binface government, anyone who doesn’t accept human-made climate change as fact will be sent back to school, from Year 1 right the way to A Levels, to see if anything goes in the second time round. #VoteBinface

Second, it reinforces the importance of all parties exchanging details in the case of a collision. Even when one of the parties may not be insured.

First, It’s possible that some form of presumed liability would have helped in this case, perhaps by making the owner of the offending vehicle liable as well as the parent of the offending child. Presumed liability is something that we should be campaigning for as part of a fairer transport system.

Not to mention more concrete poured, more tarmac laid, more flights approved, more cars, more SUVs, climate change ignored, the natural world ignored, a complete failure to address the most important issues facing us.

Also, I believe, the vast majority of people think that they are ‘good’ drivers. In other words, it would never happen to them, they would never be involved in a collision with a child or indeed an adult. So that justifies their decision to buy a dangerous vehicle.

Cycling to teach bikeability today, had to sudden stop as a driver pulled straight out from a side street at speed, then filmed a driver close passing me and going through red lights at which I had stopped, finally was overtaken as I signalled right. Drivers will break the law if they can.

Used to live at the end of this street as a student decades ago. It was shabby but the beating heart of student Bristol. What a transformation!

The back of an envelope calculation I did a few years ago was that it would cost £85 billion to put segregated cycle tracks on every single A road, B road and distributor road in England. As it has turned out, that is now considerably less than HS2 but would have been much more worthwhile.

Presumably the Metropolitan Police have recommenced arresting people as a direct result of being instructed to do so by the Home Office. Is that a fair assumption? Difficult to imagine they made the decision themselves, given the resources could be much better used on other Police matters.

Our 2025 spending as follows: Brixton market and shops £6,600 Supermarkets £0 That’s how to keep high streets alive. (Actually I would tax all supermarkets for each parking space they have and reduce business rates for independent shops).

The major problem here is not the potholes but lack of separated cycle track.

Our ride from Amersfoort to Utrecht was similar, the track running through woods alongside both railway and road. So relaxing enjoyable and safe.

The cost of HS2 would have put separated cycle tracks on just about every motorway, A road, B Road and distributor road in England and Wales.

Why are you trying to reduce disruption for drivers? Disruption and congestion are the very things that encourage modal shift. It might send the message that it’s better to travel by train to Birmingham rather than drive. This very expensive operation will only reinforce driving behaviour.
