Highlight of Konflikt 47 last night was this lone British officer hurling an AT grenade at the Axis walker as it charged him. He died from it but the grenade damaged the walker’s steering so it couldn’t then turn to crush all his friends.

After fairly extensive study this year I have a new favorite Bosch demon, with whom I identify very much. He's in the centerpiece of The Last Judgment triptych (Bruges, authorship not definite, e.g. the not famous laatste oordeel drieluik).

a demon in robe and hood. its face is shrouded entirely in black though its white teeth and eyes are visible. it is hanging from the edge of a cliff with its body in a lake. there is a nice tree with a bird nearby. the demon is reading a book. the demon has large butterfly or moth wings. it is broad of body and has stubby arms.
