#2: Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween Kids cleaning up an abandoned house get Slappy unhappy. A decent sequel to the surprisingly fun original, featuring pretty much the same story. The effects are solid, the quips funny, the pace is fast, and the monsters creative… would make a good Sunday matinee.

#1: "Frozen Scream" (RiffTrax) Something about cryogenics creating zombies or something? I have no clue what was happening in this mid-70’s chiller (pun fully intended). IMDB's description, “Mad scientists turn people into frozen zombies and the zombies wreak havoc and kill people.” OK, sure.

Got my Kickstarter-backed Edward Gorey figures! Dracula, which came in a coffin-shaped box with Gorey illustrations from the his Broadway revival and Gorey himself, which came with a tiny Figbash book, a Gorey cat and a Gorey skull. I am delighted... in morose ways than one.

My 2020 review: A pretty good "Creepshow" coat-talier anthology, with four stories that subsequently get better. Each is introduced by Vincent Price and there's many a B-movie stalwart in the cast. Plenty of E. C.-style twists and 80's practical effects gore.
