Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I agree. Like to fit her books between my more serious stories. Like a reset. 010
Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 22/09/2026I would have given this 4 stars, but the epilogue ruined it for me. Such a simple solution felt cheap and undercut the whole ride. So 2.75 stars for me. Maybe I need to stop reading the epilogues #booksky #abbyjimenez Still love abby though. This catches me up so far for all of her books. 160

Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 01/05/2026"A slow burn that nearly lost me. I almost DNF’d during the first half, but the mid-way twist was enough to keep me invested until the end. It’s worth the read if you have the patience to get to the good stuff. Rating: 3.25 🌟" #booksky 050

Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 17/03/2026the added character backstories and extra details were a highlight. However, while I enjoyed the depth, the ending felt a bit scattered, forcing me to backtrack through chapters to track down specific character resolutions. preferring the movie over the book. 4 stars. #booksky 030

Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 04/06/2025I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the negative reviews initially discouraged me from reading it. While there were a few predictable or overly sentimental moments, the overall story was engaging, and the ending was particularly well-executed. Abby Jimenez #booksky 060

Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 18/05/2025S.A. Cosby's All the Sinners Bleed was my first introduction to his work, and it did not disappoint. The story was engaging throughout, and the conclusion was particularly satisfying. I plan to read another one of his books soon. 5 stars ⭐️ #SACosby #AllSinnersBleed #booksky 240
Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 12/05/2025Ring Shout, written by P. Djèlí Clark, is a horror story that explores the transformation of Klansmen into monstrous creatures known as Ku Kluxes, and the black women who hunt them down. While I have yet to watch Sinners, the film supposedly shares similar elements. 4 Stars for me #booksky 040
Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 07/05/2025Reviewing a book of short stories is challenging, as some resonated with me while others were average, but none were boring. I would give this one a 4.25 out of 5 for me. #stephenking #youlikeitdarker #booksky 020
Jon Snow @jonb2000.bsky.social · 06/05/2025This is a pretty good thriller with some nice twists, a great way to kick off the thriller/horror reading month with a compelling book. On to the next. I give it 4.75 out of 5. Keep it in the family by John Marrs #booksky 021
