Managed to get / trade during release weekend of the Gundam TCG and I'm so glad the alt arts of the Turn A have been so good just need to track down the Diana and Kihel alt at some point. I do find it hilarious my deck build is using two of the most busted Mobile suits lore wise.

That's an easy one Concrete Revolutio my favorite Studio Bones original show. Conceptually it is definitely a hard sell since you need a decent grasp of the type of anime, manga and social events from the 50-70s it's making a commentary on, but the Gen Urobuchi G.I. Joe episode is really good.

After not playing card games since highschool when I was deep into Yu-Gi-Oh I've been brought back with the Gundam TCG. I finally got a starter deck and started doing some locals it's nice to get promo cards from attending since that definitely wasn't a thing back then.

Not sure how successful this was for them, but I told them in the survey that they should bring the Lupin exhibition stateside for those sweet bags and shirts.

011

Jonathan Sandoval @jonathansandoval.design · 20/10/2025

I did buy some stuff at the exhibition like foil stickers, shirts and a towel they also gave mini prints for people who registered before the event so there was that.

Not really a metal art print person especially with ones like these costing in the several grand. I'm assuming they're targeting a different kind of fan with way more disposable income lol

Got the chance to watch the Angels Egg 4k remaster, 100 Meters and a really awesome animated short Animal Math. Me and my friends had great time. Thank you Beyond Fest for putting this on and for @neon-rated.bsky.social for making all the film screenings in Los Feliz free during the festival.

I kind of anticipated that considering the lack of art based on what was used in the covers, but mostly the art pages are episode guides and storyboards for openings Some of the production art sections are very blow up and fuzzy it's very noticeable in the Affair of Nolanda production art sections.

In order to keep my mind occupied I decided to continue which at this point is a series of posters combining stuff I'm into. I added some fun easter eggs for people who wanna look.

Hi-Nu Gundam poster originally it was gonna be a parody of those 90s American Gunpla ads but I couldn't help myself making it too cool lmao.

Finally finished my build of the RG Hi-ν Gundam as my first Real Grade I completely understand why this would sit at the top. My only real gripes are the V fin loves to fall off a lot and the funnels don't really close all the way.

Real Grade Hi-ν Gundam with Shield and beam saber the mark soft really did a good job softening the unicorn decal into the shield nicely

Real Grade Hi-ν Gundam I used gloss for the propellant tanks but, it does really make them into a dust magnet unfortunately lol

What has become an annual thing during my birthday I drive the San Diego Book-Off since I usually get a great find like this Rayearth manga collection being half off. I also tried the Bandai Gashapon hoping for the Zeta+ but got the Wing instead.

San Diego Book-Off every time I go I usually find something good like all of Master Keaton for under $100

Magic Knight Rayearth for $65 I couldn't pass on it
