#ICASSP2025 was pretty fun! Lots of good conversations and connections. Jet lag totally killed my sleep for the whole week, but now I know you can survive on 15 hours of sleep over 5 days, and at least I'm still almost on Boston time🤗

The prompting unified model outperforms the conventional unified model on all tasks, but not specialist models at Medium scale. As the unified model can leverage larger-scale data, we find it benefits from a larger model, then outperforming specialist models on some datasets.

This enables our TUSS model to handle all the major separation tasks, training a single model on all datasets: speech enhancement (SE), speech separation (SS), universal source separation (USS), music source separation (MSS), and cinematic audio source separation (CASS).
