Experts are casting doubt on the long-term viability of LNG projects, which are expensive to build and risk becoming stranded assets. As other countries race to transition to clean energy, oil and gas is as risky for the economy as it is for the climate.

Climate change is costing our economy billions of dollars a year from extreme weather damage, drought, crop failure and supply chain disruptions. It is sheer lunacy to keep pumping carbon emissions into the air when we can see with our own eyes how damaging it is.

Regardless of where they live, health care workers go to work every day with a clear goal: to save lives and keep people healthy. Since 2023, the WHO has documented 1,580 health care workers killed in Gaza. As a doctor, this has been top of mind ever since the war in Gaza started. My statement:
