The Western powers blocked "reparations" to Holocaust survivord several times, with the UK in particular doing so because they did not want any money going to Israel. The talking point that Palestinians "bore the brunt of European Antisemitism" is completely baseless.

The 1953 London Debt Agreement blocked Reparations to Jewish Holocaust victims outside Germany for several decades. According to Economist Timothy W. Guinnane (2015) 'there is little historical literature on the London Debt Agreement', and several persons such as Ta-Nehisi Coates, James Baldwin, Franziska Seraphim among others did not mention the LDA in their analysis. This is possibly because the London Debt Agreement does not support their narrative.

Rudolf Schmundt's (Hitler's adjutant) notes taken on may 1939, before the Invasion of Poland. Hitler and co always wanted war with the West, and their invasion of Poland was designed to remove a threat to their rear and provide "lebensraum" as well as a staging area for attacking the USSR.

One of my colleagues from Lublin volunteers as a tour guide for Majdanek. She actually spoke about Communist Era censorship of the Holocaust (and shared this memoir by a Polish Woman that didn't mention Jews published by the Polish MoD).

Germany regained its international standing pretty much immediately, in about 1953. The West German "Wirtschaftswünder" made it easy for them to serve as the economic engine of Europe. Literally the first thing the West did was forgive half of German debt and block them from paying Reparations lol
