As for the "we wanted to collaborate" - sure Jan. Ill take the apology, you've been told. We can see the cease and desist letters though. Thays not collaborative. Touch some (kinky) grass, friends. Get back into it. Youre one of the more interesting [brands] But dont fuck around ☝🏻

That said - and as the apology states - trying to lay claim to locktober (and socktober, it seems) was a mistake. And not needed, really - its enough that you are @sk8erboy.bsky.social You guys should lean into explaining where you came from, get a wiki page up! Participate in the community.

I appreciate sk8er as it comes out of the early 2000s - a very different culture and public acceptance level that I also navigated... and I think its nice to have a brand thats been around the block present in our space.

So @sk8erboy.bsky.social does not want comments on this post. Which is dumb because 1: its a decent apology for a [brand] and 2: obviously we're going to talk about it anyway.

As with all brands... they respect the community... or else 😅 Any for profit enterprise rubs against the values of the community the wrong way. While they do provide benefits its important to remember that - as much as the marketing wants it to seem otherwise - they are on the outside.
