We are Jon and Libby. She's the singer and he plays synths. He's an idiot and she doesn't exist. Together we make heavy, cynical synthpop. www.youtube.com/@JonandLibby jonandlibby.bandcamp.com open.spotify.com/artist/00MgiIK4TNk…

I would love to post the early mix for our new single, but Bluesky only accepts media that are 60 seconds or less. Here it is on The Threads: www.threads.net/@jonandlibby...

A preliminary mix for our new single "Nothing To Fear", along with some nice pictures of the band being bored, shadowy, and enigmatic. Yes, I know they're AI, but half of us don't exist!

Jon And Libby is an anti-fascist band. Always has been. Always will be. So, of course, we support any attempt to exert the will of the American people over the Mango Mussolini's junta and its billionaire running dogs.

This sounds weirdly familiar, but I can't place it. Don't want to develop it further if it's not original.

All good points. I will just add that if you're monitoring on cans, listen to EVERYTHING through them all day long to understand how everything else sounds. www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWb2...

I think I'm going to start putting googly eyes on things. It's at times like this I wonder if I'm right to write and perform music inside the box, and should buy synths just to put googly eyes on them. <looks through Behringer catalogue for suitably googly eye targets> #googlyeyes

Really not posted anything here because Threads instantly showed me things I wanted to see. Music production, mixing, mastering, that kind of thing. But I promise to start posting here to see where things go.
