iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I just finished my first year as a full time magician. I managed to scrape through some lean months and pay all my bills. People really want to experience live events that create emotion, give them ideas, and make life feel magical.

That is amazing. Let me know if you want to brainstorm anything.

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I’m also doing a theatrical seance at this!

Some of you are able to just wear a hat like it’s nothing and not think of it as a super power.

Well, I opened The Haunted Magic Shop. Magic tricks, ghost tours, live shows. The main problem is that I want to swipe all the tricks and make them my own. #magic #lowellma

I got the lease. I’m opening a brick & mortar magic store. September 1. Lowell, Mass.

It’s my birthday so I’m at The Adventure Zone live show

Looking for recommendations of mystery games for elementary school kids. Like, training them to solve mysteries as they get older.

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 09/06/2026

I’m opening an actual brick & mortar kiosk shop. Ghosts and magic and shit.

020

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 18/05/2026

The reason you know I’m a magician is because I just fixed the vacuum cleaner!! Something no mere mortal can do!

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 14/05/2026

I’m going to The Sheep Detective. Any fun mystery will get me out.

The Observatory of Intuition has faded back into the mist. Where will it deploy next?

100

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

The Observatory of Intuition has been deployed at #Ravencon. If you find it, you unlock a side quest of tarot and magic.

010

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 24/04/2026

Arrived at #Ravencon. Doing tarot, pendulums, and a little creepy magic.

Libraries are one of the very few markets for this kind of thing that want physical mail. But you also can’t really target a specific library. You mail to everyone in your driving range.

110

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

This is a long answer but. I’m a storytelling magician (and I love maps). I hired a guy a year ago to really teach me about markets for magic and libraries were one of the markets I focus on. I design hr long programs, build them on my website (only for library programs), and send postcards.

210

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 21/04/2026

I do a lot of library programs. Anecdotally, a lot of librarians have gone out of their way to thank me for never emailing or calling.

I’m doing a friends and family for my ghost walking tour this month. And then full steam every weekend in May. Should we guess how many will be canceled from rain?

010

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 05/04/2026

I did a magic performance at a Seder today! I offered to reenact the 10 plagues but they requested something else.

020

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

Have you been on a ghost walking tour? What did you like/dislike?

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 24/03/2026

I was easily the hottest person in the grocery store.

001

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 22/03/2026

Working with the city of Lowell to get permits for the ghost tour has a been so easy and a great experience. Dealing with google, Wordpress, and every other online aspect of starting a business has been misery. I’m this close to going full analog.

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

It’s a mill town so there are a lot of stories of people dying in work accidents and then haunting the workplace. The goofy one is an actual documented report in city hall of someone seeing the ghost of Abraham Lincoln. I’m doing Mark Strivings the worry coin for that one.

101

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

Well. Permits for the walking tour are done. I don’t know if it’s a good idea but I have a version of the tour that has bizarre magic at every stop. I love it. But will anyone else?

100

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

Today I finalize the permits for my ghost walking tour. This tour contains magic. Each stop/story has a magical effect that supports the themes. This is how I do magic. Not tricks. Story.

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 20/03/2026

Not a big #magic or #magician community on here. Or is there? I have so many bizarre magic projects I want to talk about.

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 17/03/2026

Massachusetts has a thing where if you open a business you get a free business advisor. I have the first meeting with mine today.

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 15/03/2026

Has anyone ever hired a property management company for their own house so you don’t have to do shit?

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 14/03/2026

I booked a magic performance at a Passover Seder. Y’all, I get to do cool stuff.

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 10/03/2026

Yah. The podcast is Roll to Meddle. I’m happy to talk about the mystery side of it if you like.

110

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 27/01/2026

I just ordered some clothes from Hong Kong 🤞

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 16/01/2026

I was paid very well to write for the Gauntlet. And, more to your point, after one of their contests I organized a bunch of the people who entered to self publish their submissions. It’s all open and awesome.

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 13/01/2026

Tomorrow I leave for a seance convention! I’ve been to so many cons but this is a first. If you were going, what questions would you ask?

020

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 03/01/2026

Did you know? There is a gay porn actor with my name. Most of my Google alerts are about his new movies. To answer your question, yes, I have watched some to confirm that I have not forgotten about a past life as a gay porn star.

080

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 21/12/2025

Yah. It’s a tough time. But you are loved.

000

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

Hmmm. I’m doing hypnotic pattern which reminds me of prismatic spray but isn’t really. Lightning is interesting.

010

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

The D&D magic show I’m developing. It’s part live play. I’m on a quest to find the thing. The audience makes decisions and rolls some big ole inflatable dice. It’s part magic show. I play a wizard type actually casting spells on stage. What spells would you like to see? I can’t use fire 😀

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 08/12/2025

What am I doing today? Writing a D&D themed magic show.

Jonah Knight @jonahofthesea.bsky.social · 01/12/2025

Booked my first gig in New Hampshire. Feels good.
