The Antonov A-40 Krylya Tanka: this Soviet set of tank-mounted wings was intended to allow tanks to glide into battle after being towed by a bomber plane. In practice, a single T-60 based prototype was tested with less-than-stellar results. #unity3d #assetstore #unityassetstore #gamedev #indiedev

The Landkreuzer P. 1000 "Ratte": this 1000-ton tank was the pinnacle of German fantasies during WW2. It was to feature up to 360 mm of armour and mount a battleship turret armed with two 280 mm guns, along with an assortment of smaller guns. #unity3d #assetstore #unityassetstore #gamedev #indiedev

The E-75: this heavier brother of the E-50 was intended to replace the Tiger II. Like with the E-50, the E-75's turret and gun were never designed, so it is often shown mounting a modified Tiger II turret with a long 10.5 cm gun. #unity3d #assetstore #unityassetstore #gamedev #indiedev

The E-50: this E-series design was intended to replace the Panther. The E-50's turret and gun were never designed, so it is often (incorrectly) shown mounting a Schmalturm with a long 8.8 cm gun in 'what if' model builds. #unity3d #assetstore #unityassetstore #gamedev #indiedev
