🐌 Hurrah for Sunday Snailday once again & found a little pal hidden in forfrond greenery, so the wish for all good folk is to remember how absolutely fine it is to be small in a big world, to tuck in & tuck away when all is overwhelming & just be gentle amongst growing things...

🦋 Made from plants that surround the tucked away garden bench where they were worked, a little batch of lavender filled crochet woollen butterflies to safely store away summer things with, their natural colours yielded from botanical dyes of buddleja, elderflower, & lavender...

sat on a wooden tabletop is a pink & floral decorated tray, filled with cakes of wool in yellow, pink, & green, a little butterfly shaped label perched stop them to identify which plant dyed which colour, & four crochet butterflies laid out neatly to fill the rest of the tray.

🐾 Yorkshire Water are digging up one garden (& the street & the road!) so we decided to do our own engineering works in the other for to replace the rotted gatepost - utterly cream crackered but the task is done! Now for a brew & not moving from an armchair until tomorrow...
