You mean building something like driver.js myself or build upon driver.js with an LLM?

Pretty cool, your animations look sooo good :)

Hannes @joknoll.de · 04/09/2026
How did you implement it in "svelte" way? :)

Hannes @joknoll.de · 04/09/2026
Yes exactly, didn't know about driver.js. Thanks!

I want to build an interactive product walkthrough / guided onboarding tour for a SvelteKit app. Has anyone done this before and has tips how to do this or recommendations for packages?

Is this for animotion 2.0?

Interesting, does it also work with state instead of the old $stores?

So fresh I haven't heard about it yet :) Seems like paraglide in the usage `t("...")` but with automatic AI translations?

Wuchale or Paraglide for SvelteKit i18n?

Hannes @joknoll.de · 16/08/2026
Yes, it is a great site, far better than most AI generated sites. I really like the animations and 3D stuff :)

Smells a little bit LLM generated, the eyebrow pattern is overused and some strange animation artifacts

Hannes @joknoll.de · 14/08/2026
Came here to say the same. This is probably a good idea instead of a standalone cli.

Software Engineering is so over, AI so smart it even forgets a simple noindex. But even then noindex seems like a obscure method to hide public chats, aren't there better ways? the-decoder.com/shared-claud...

Shared Claude chats were reportedly showing up in search engines
Shared conversations with Anthropic's Claude chatbot briefly appeared in Google search results because the pages lacked a noindex tag. Users said some chats contained crypto keys and legal questions. ...

Why does AI suck at front-end? 🗑️ trained on garbage 👀 it can't see ❓ it doesn't know why 🏞️ no environmental control there's no human v20.2.1 to target. we're a LLM combinatorial explosion ⤷ nerdy.dev/why-ai-sucks...
The left panel is titled AI - MASTER OF ENGINE & CREATION and features a sophisticated, human-like android robot with detailed internal circuits and a glowing brain. Floating text around the robot says - REWRITING GAME ENGINES with a small video screen, GENERATING REALISTIC VIDEO/IMAGES with code on a screen, and CONFIDENCE - 100%. The right panel is titled AI - FRONT-END CSS FAIL and shows a cluttered desk with a distressed small robot next to a frustrated human man pointing aggressively at a computer screen. The computer displays a chaotic webpage full of broken layout elements and a giant black void called a gaping hole. The small robot has a speech bubble that says - I'M DONE! THE FEATURE IS COMPLETE. Floating text phrases on the right side are - BESPOKE INTERACTION NIGHTMARE, CSS IS HARD, YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, CAN'T RENDER, LLM CAN'T MATH. The human has a mug with </> and nerdy.dev written on it.

Typing issues in `resolve()` from `$app/paths`
I'm using a piece of code to generate breadcrumb navigation on my SvelteKit app. I found the inspiration for the code here. The current setup looks like this: <!-- ./breadcrumbs.svelte --> <

How do you structure SvelteKit components/ directory? I really like the structure in astro with src/{assets,components,layouts,etc.}. But in svelte I seem to always dump everything into components/ without further structure.

I recently watched a talk of Rich Harris about Svelte remote functions and somewhere near the end I remember he mentioned using them with pglite. Does anyone know thr talk and what the idea behind this is? Probably some local copy of the db so no network is needed?
