His own suffering is nothing compared to that of a passed on generational mission to save the planet. He wants to save Caelus, but what’s that to saving a dying world? What’s his grief over a loved one to holding the grief of billions of existences?

It won’t be the first time he’s waited alone for his life to become brighter. He is glad that it is him waiting centuries and not Caelus; suffering enough from fate. Now Caelus has an even larger weight on his shoulders and all he can do is try to relieve that.

Dan Heng would wait forever if he had to and would do anything just to lessen the suffering he has experienced. Dan Heng would endure his own isolation in this as it’s the least to worry about when his beloved is suffering so much more.

Now, having to wait for days, weeks, months, years, CENTURIES even of waiting — enough to have the most cherished memories grow distant and foggy — he thinks himself more fortunate than Caelus. He must be worried about him after all of this. About everyone on the express.

Dan Heng agonized over whether or not they could find the death titan, whether it would work and if he could find any other way should it all go wrong, losing days of sleep after the truth comes out. But he wasn’t the one who was hanging on by a thread. Whose life was in danger.

Neck twisted just a little bit too much for human comfortability. All of that something he had to witness, live with, PRAY that it didn’t happen until it was proven true. Caelus was the one who had died there, not him. He didn’t actually suffer that fate, just watched it.

#HSR #dancae angst . Dan Heng couldn’t say he was the one to suffer the most during their trailblazing to Amphoreus. Even when he was agonizing over the image of Caelus burnt, bleeding out, and not breathing. The puddle growing that was too much for someone alive to survive.

The next day, total three weeks after this incident started, wwx wakes up back to normal, realizing what he did and begging lwj to forgive him, clinging to him and giving him kisses to try and make it up to him.

Let’s just say teenxian learned later that they were married and he was punished for forgetting that, making up for the “everyday”s they’ve missed because of this. That feeling he was making lwj feel this whole time? Extreme possessiveness and jealousy.

He does it again a few more times, feeling the reactions that he thought he knew from the other until it was the final straw when the woman he was talking to tried to invite him out for dinner after her work and lwj actually stepped in, wordlessly picked him up and walked away.

Lwj is moody the rest of the day, but he doesn’t let the other know why, but teenxian is smart enough to pinpoint when it started and why. He doesn’t know that they’re married, reverted to a teen and no memory of the present, so he thinks it’s just him finding it “shameless”.

Eventually, he does find one thing that does get a reaction from him, it happens when he play flirts with a young woman running a fruit stand. Teenxian didn’t even intend on trying to get a reaction either, he just was complimenting and teasing her a little, what’s wrong?

Sure it’s nice to see the other not outright ignoring him or frustrated, but he also wanted more of a reaction (attention) from him and this is how he usually gets it so he feels frustrated. He keeps trying more and more for days, trying to fluster the other and it doesn’t work.
