Love this time of year, the weather, the crisp autumnal mornings, my heat intolerance no longer being an issue! And then you hear the familiar sound of a skein of geese above, simply beautiful. Pink footed geese at Martin Mere a year or 2 ago.

Unfortunately over here it's unusual for residential properties to have a/c so when we get a heatwave it's just unbearable, houses here are built to retain heat without any thought of when the weather can get hot, i have a collection of bladeless fans keeping me cool when the temp rises!!
