haha yeah. 7 years since the first book, doesnt feel like it. A lot of therapy since then too has helped me process a lot lol The new story also ends at 2023, instead of 2011.

I will let you know if it gets that far 😆. I may use the real names of clubs and crews. I was overly cautious when I published PSPS. The new one will be more interesting too cuz I'm finally comfortable talking about the actual reasons I left, so I think the story makes a lot more sense now.

The book was kinda tough too but it was memoir style, so very first person. The screenplay is kinda forcing me to dig deeper though, with all the character development and world building. The memoir was more scratching the surface.

Turning this book into a screenplay is a crazy emotional ride all over again. Reliving and re-editing the best and worst times of my life, the worst of which still has reverberations to this day, is some agonizing shit, but I'm liking what it's turning into.
