JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 23/09/2026It's been a while since I posted an OC, let alone a painted background. Here, have an Adderbolt! 08417
JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 17/09/2026I also briefly considered the Pokemon Center theme, but the Overture is the only track we have from Winds and Waves at the moment 💦 010
JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Thanks! This is like 90% animated in Adobe Flash, up until I discovered that it doesn't handle rotations in steps under 0.35°, meaning it was quite choppy when stretched across ~2200 frames. So I had to export the wheel and finish the animation in DaVinci Resolve. It was a lot of finagling. 110
JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Thanks! I've only played like half of these titles, but in the course of my research I feel as though I'd grown up with them all 010
JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 16/09/2026I'm done! This might be the biggest illustration I've made in my life💦 The art may have been 11 weeks in the making, but the journey's been 30 years. Cheers! 🥂 #Pokemon #Pokemon30 #PokemonFanart #PokemonArt 6419173

JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Pokémon Gen 5.2/10 It was kind of an accident that both Nate and Hilbert are pointing at Hilda in the collage wheel. I can only hope they're being civil💦 19122

JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Thanks! 😁 Blending them was a real challenge in Flash, especially when I had to export them to Photoshop to map them onto a circle before I would know where they lined up. 000

JohnSu @johnsu.bsky.social · 27/05/2026Occasionally I have dreams about #Firefall being back in development, and I'm there with the crew. 😭 That was my first job out of school, and the experience was an adventure unlike any other. The game and the team will always hold a special place in my heart. 2466
