The most nonsensical reasoning possible — vibes and past evidence. Like I said, it’s gonna be a very good midterm for Democrats. I just don’t see a total across-the-board sweep cause that rarely ever happens and polls are always a little bit wrong in some places Would love to be wrong!

Like for example — I think it's fairly obvious Talarico is gonna win Texas and Brown wins Ohio But I don't quite see Rogers or Collins losing Michigan or Maine. Always open to being wrong, but my hunch is on a scale of 1 to 10, the midterms go about a solid 7 for Democrats

Gonna be a full 4 weeks of this discourse, in general And the result will remain what it always is for midterms — a healthy wave/swing for whoever the opposition party is, but not a gigantic tsunami that many within the opposition party hoped for

Which is to say — no, I won't actually be going back over there anytime soon

About 2 weeks ago I seriously considered going back to Twitter, but over the past few days that site has not only fully doxxed Jane Doe from Cornell but its now made her into a full disgusting meme, daily tearing a part her life And those same posters would insist rape culture does't exist..

Sooooooo, what if the Atlanta Falcons are good? (I fall into a never-ending pit of despair, knowing full well that bullshit I just uttered was a total waste of perfectly fine air)

….the cheering is what gets me Doom posting, but sometimes it’s very hard to see what’s left to fight for

Really happy to be doing this weekly column, as I just read a mock from CBS that had Julian Sayin and Jayden Maiava as first round picks, with Arch Manning fully out of the first round Uhhhhh….ok.

A few guys with strong starts to their seasons and are now within spitting distance of the Top 10 of the 2027 NFL Draft Quarterback class: - Aidan Chiles - CJ Bailey - Kenny Minchey - Caden Veltkamp

Still a lot of season left, and we still need to see more consistency from him before he gets that contract But tonight is a good night to say I never fully sold my Bryce Young stock

I love how understated, emotional and story-driven the finale was. Not everything should be a CGI slop fest This was an adult superhero show made for adults An Kyle Chandler legit got me with his final lines. Altogether, a massive success

As LANTERNS ends, I strongly think it was a home run and a total hit for DC Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre both became Hal Jordan and John Stewart, and the show revived the tarnished Green Lantern mythos James Gunn has now nailed Superman, Green Lantern, and casted a good Supergirl. Great start!

Opposite from my Texans thoughts, the season ended today for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 0-4, no Baker for a few more weeks, and the rest of their schedule is tough Gonna have an early draft pick for a QB, but they idiotically gave Baker that contract. Weird situation, but decent for the next coach

The Harbaughs should 10000% call a family meeting and make the trade happen Dart and two first rounders for Herbert. Makes total sense for both teams, Chargers can tank this year with Dart out for good
010
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Sooooooo I think the Chargers should trade Justin Herbert for a haul Someone will do it, and it’s what’s best for both sides at this point. Just a total failure of a season for him and the team
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Yes, their margin for error is now gone. But I see 8 games where they will be favored If they split with the Jaguars, they just need to win 1 of the other 4 harder games, and that’s 10-7. Could be in the playoffs with that alone
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Getting ahead of this now as a big Jaguars fan — The Houston Texans aren’t dead yet. Throw whatever stat you have about 0-4 teams out the window This is the rest of their schedule. 10-7 is very reachable. If they beat the Jaguars in 2 weeks in the international game, they can win the division

Like…..what???? Bring out the FG team, got the penalty and five years closer then….punted to Joe Burrow on their side of the field!?!?!? Absolutely the worst possible decision

Liam Coen……why on earth??

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
That’s what has been weird for me I fully understand why anyone wouldn’t see this as a masterpiece. It’s…a lot! But the vitriol and the bombing at the box office really, really feels like a miss across the board by our culture This is a good, creative movie that makes an important argument

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Like, I actually want to pay to see this movie again just so I can watch this full one-shot monologue from Cruise Some of the best written stuff I’ve seen in modern filmmaking. Then the acting meets the moment That’s the good stuff, folks

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 04/10/2026
Going back to DIGGER It’s a total disgrace this movie is bombing so hard when it contains THIS SCENE Legitimately one of the very best movie scenes of the century thus far, and arguably somehow Tom Cruise’s finest moment. Legend shit

Yeahhhhh, Lincoln Riley might get the ax before Beamer

First class comments from Will Stein immediately sticking up for Shane Beamer. Love that

Alright, I’ve seen enough Austin Simmons is officially in the conversation of QBs in this draft class

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Starting to think Austin Simmons might be an NFL dude

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Part of the reason why I was so on Minnesota in the preseason is because I reallyyyyy like their chances at winning this game That’s a team that can beat Iowa and UCLA. Possibilities get fun for them if that happens
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Michigan simply can’t walk that quarterback back out there under center in their next game Inexcusably bad
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Not saying Notre Dame won’t beat them, but if Chris Ash is this committed to his scheme that can be beat by really good athletes, Miami will score 30-plus points in that matchup
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Classic crash back down to Earth day for Kamario Taylor and Mississippi State Bama is legit this year, and I’m very impressed by Keelon Russell

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Bad coaching from Notre Dame Could’ve went up 24-7 with a FG, but Freeman stupidly goes for it on 4th down. They miss, North Carolina has life, and they drive down the field for the score Game completely changes. Made no sense. If UNC had a better QB, Petrino would be getting the better of Ash

John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
An obvious designed throw, but Lindsey loses his composure when pressure comes and he forces the throw instead of airing it out more Would’ve been 6 for Minnesota. but it’s 6 the other way. Not good!
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
But it’s an ok/good player at the single most important position in all of sports You’re dead in the water in the NFL without a reliable starting QB, and next season there will be several teams who’ll need one Good debate!
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
In the recent line of TD celebrations that have become increasingly annoying and weird, the “sniff my crotch and smell it” move is easily the worst Just stupid
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
And this is where I’ll disagree With the way the cap is setup with rookie QBs, it’s totally fine to have an adequate/good not great starter in place if they do hit quickly as a rookie Roster management becomes infinitely easier
100
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
It’s a smidge overrated, yes But it’s deeper than it is top heavy. Strongly believe there’s at least 4-5 guys who can be NFL starting quarterbacks, which is high for any class But there’s no clear franchise-changers at this moment
110
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Starting to think CJ Carr might be one of the safest 1st rounds picks at QB in the 2027 NFL Draft Not saying he’ll be the best overall of the group. But his accuracy, poise, football IQ, and pocket awareness really raises his floor I see a lot of Derek Carr with him
110
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
Think Notre Dame got screwed there on the personal foul call Lineman blocked a guy clear out of bounds on an incompletion. Very weird that both players weren’t given a personal foul

Anyways — this has been an incredible year for movies thus far, with some other possible awesome films coming soon But here’s how I’d rank this year’s top flicks so far. And yes, I’ve seen most of the big films wide released in 2026
000
John Reecer @johnreecer.bsky.social · 03/10/2026
But also — just cause it’s too on the nose for you, doesn’t mean it is for someone else For example, there’s a viral post going around saying Digger doesn’t address the role of technology in climate change and Cruise literally yells into the camera about how AI is killing us and we don’t care!!
