What a great launch for a series! It seems like @benjaminpercy.bsky.social has an interesting take on the character, and a solid hook for the first arc. Definitely looking forward to more!

If you see this, post a comics cover you love. It need not be the very first issue of X-Men you’ve ever read, drawn by the incomparable @johnromita.bsky.social at the height of 90s X-Men popularity, but it doesn’t hurt!

@alewingpromotes.bsky.social does it again because I accidentally read the entire collection in one sitting. Loved seeing how he twisted a ton of GL concepts to make them new, and the way he’s brought in characters from other franchises to shift the interactions. Shoutout to @jahnoyl.bsky.social art

These 4 panels just cracked me up. Thanks for the great words, @alewingpromotes.bsky.social and excellent acting Lee Loughridge! If this turns out to actually be @stevelieberart.bsky.social, apologies in advance for misremembering which issue this is!

I had MRSA this summer and was down for a month, and felt like a potato after. Grateful to have progress pictures showing me where I was two years ago, and where I am now. Next step: get back to 2023 weight with 2025 leanness.

@gailsimone.bsky.social I loved your words in this page so much. This is such a good description of how my anxiety feels, especially the last five boxes, when the anxieties coalesce into depression. Thanks for getting that so right.

Two mystifyingly disappointing books, and I’m struggling a bit with why. Putting more in the comments in case a bunch of you also waited for the trades.

I’m several months late to the game because I intentionally waited for the collection, but @kellythompson.bsky.social @cleanlined.bsky.social Mattia De Iulis Jordie Bellaire and @conroyforreal.bsky.social knocked it out of the park on this one. What a killer opening sequence!

Been a minute since posting a progress pic. Visited my trainer at his gym this week and got to take advantage of some excellent selfie lighting.

Shirtless homo finds the lighting and gets the trainer to take his next thirst trap. Move on without liking this, you’re better than that 🤣

Homo keeps his shirt on, but learns a new bodybuilding pose. Please tell him his shoulders look good, if you’re not above such things.

I find the below poses really helpful for releasing tightness in the upper back (pose 4 in pic 1 is DELICIOUS). Eagle pose doesn’t HAVE to involve the legs to release tension between the shoulder blades. Good luck!

A woman demonstrates a series of yoga poses to ease pain in the upper back. Apologies but I don’t know the names of these poses.

I first saw her in a Hawkgirl trade, but she’s got at least one or two OGNs from DC. I think she’d look great in your style.

The cut has been challenging in a lot of ways. I’d hoped to be done before my biggest project of the year, but the ocean together. Today was my first day back after three weeks off. Don’t think I lost too much muscle, but it’ll be nice to fill out a shirt again when the building resumes.

June 16th, still on the cut. Man stands for progress picture. He is 6’4” and weighs 188lbs.

Man, this book remains a top-tier must-read. @meakoopa.bsky.social and @bailierosenlund.bsky.social knocked this one out with a page that left me choked up, putting a relatable perspective on a feeling I’ll never know firsthand. I hope you both stay on this book for a VERY long time!

This isn’t the best picture, but it provides some sense of scale. This was taken at The Grove, roughly 10 miles in from the ocean, and 4-5 miles south of the fire.
