You're welcome. I'm glad I could help out. I don't know much about the situation but I hope officials punish them severely.

I haven't been watching much football these past few years but I believe United might be headed for relegation. I know it's early days in the season but their results are atrocious and I don't see things improving soon

Now you can opt out of having your posts shown to non-followers in the Discover feed. We know not everyone wants to go viral. Sometimes you're just posting for your followers. This is one of a few updates we're working on to give you more control over your experience and help you find your people.

Instructional image titled "Hide your posts from non-followers in Discover" accompanied by a screenshot of the "privacy and security" options from the Bluesky settings menu. "Ask apps to hide my posts from algorithmic recommendations" is toggled to the "on" state.

I made a Duck Hunt dress! 😊 I loved this game growing up and am so happy I can play it again on my CRT. Admittedly, I wasn’t very good at it and, like many other kids, got way too close to the screen to hit the ducks. 🤭

Omg!!! This is sad. I can't believe this.

Lol. These kids have no idea. We partied in high school, college, and for like 10 years after college. It was not uncommon to party until 3, 4, or 5 AM and still make it to school/work on time at 8 AM. Teen clubs were a thing. House parties too. Hell, I'm from the Midwest, we partied in corn fields

Nice. Glad you got it back too. But 2+ hours without is kind of ridiculous since we got no explanation for the problem

johnny @johnnywilliams.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

I'm in Springfield, IL so we're not far apart. Perhaps this is a statewide problem or bigger

One thing I miss about Twitter is seeing if everyone is experiencing internet issues. #Xfinity has been down for at least 2 hours in my hood. I just found out it's been that way for the entire city. I have no idea if it is a statewide, region, or national issue. Twitter was good for info like that

Do you know how hurtful it is to see teenagers calling people who were born in 2005 old!??!?

Me either. I checked back and someone solved it. The OP says it was If I Die Before I Wake. I've never heard of it but I may see about trying to watch it soon. letterboxd.com/film/if-i-di...

If I Die Before I Wake (1998)

A suburban family is held hostage and terrorized by three intruders while their sixteen year-old daughter first hides, then exacts her own brand of terror on the assailants.

@lisamariebowman.bsky.social Do you know what movie this person is describing?

A screenshot of a reddit post from the tip of my tongue subreddit. This individual wants to know the name of a horror movie. Their description of the movie is this,

Hello! This is an insane quest but I have struggled to find this movie. NO I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH IT AGAIN. I iust need to know what the movie title is so I can finally get closure on what was forced to watch
So because I was so small (ves my POS step mother forced me to watch this insanely graphic movie) I can't remember much. This is what I know:
- I watched the movie between 1999-2004 (( am not sure if this was when the movie was released)
- The movie is NOT Desperate Hours, Funny Games, Fear, or Panic Room
- Two scenes 1 remember vividlv is the scene where the mother (or daughter) is tied to the shower head and sexually assaulted and the ending where one of the bad guys gets pushed out the window and his head impales onto the spiked fence outside
⁃ The entire movie is filmed inside the home - there are NO SCENES of outside this home
There is a strong possibility this movie is a straight to video thing but this was also when blockbuster was at its peak so I wouldn't be surprised if they had some...questionable movies they were sellinc
Please help! 1 iust want closure on what I was forced to watch!
Thank you!!
EDIT: I forgot to mention the family has mom, dad, little brother, and teenage sister. The men did not have masks on when they broke in. The father and son were taken into the basement and tied up while the mother and daughter were upstairs.

Glad to see UEFA taking this stance. I wish other football associations would do the same.

I imagine Infantino didn't care. He just pretended to.

030

johnny @johnnywilliams.bsky.social · 20/07/2026

He did the same at the FIFA Club World Cup last year. I laughed when they said he'd present the trophy this year because I knew he'd force himself into the celebration

Typical Argentina. Already gifted one WC 4 years ago and butthurt they weren't gifted another. They should not have made it this far. Glad to hear they lost

Also, every country should boycott the rest of this tournament, disband FIFA, and start a new organization that isn't blatantly corrupt. Compete for a world title without the US. The US already competes for world titles in other sports, without including you. So no need to include us in this one

000

johnny @johnnywilliams.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

The corruption on full display because he cannot shut up about it. Whoever is in charge of the Olympics, please take hosting rights away from the US now. Do not give him the opportunity to alter rules during that event. Just take it away from the US entirely. As far away as you can

010

johnny @johnnywilliams.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

As they should. FIFA's decision and the entire tournament is a joke and reeks of corruption.

000

johnny @johnnywilliams.bsky.social · 05/07/2026

Lol. I'm glad I boycotted this joke of a World Cup. It is a beautiful game but it is also corrupt to the core

010

johnny @johnnywilliams.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Lol. I can't now. I rarely watch games now. I average about 4-5 per season. And those are typically the CL knockout stages if Madrid goes far. Haven't watched a full United match in like 3 years. I don't know why but my heart isn't in it anymore
