Got to see a lot of old friends at Outlands in Seattle last night. Here I am with David from Ivy Records (a label I used to be on in a couple bands back in the '90s).

DJ Rota Freeman is being my hero. At the Rendezvous here in Seattle, I walk in and he plays She's Got a Halo by Faith & Disease (an earlier band I was in), and then Omens by Johnny Forlorn. Love how it sounds on the big speakers.

Yule presents arrived. Upgraded vocal setup. Had: Rodes NT-1A condenser mic into an ART preamp. Now: Dachman da-87i condenser into a Warm Audio wa73-eq preamp. Damn, what a difference. Last setup was decent, but now...so good #synthpop #darkwave #recordingstudio #recordingengineer #recordingartist
