Trying to notice the small joys of everyday life and help my children and grandchildren live their best lives. Very worried about the future of democracy in the USA and worried about the world we are leaving for future generations.

Thanks, I love the audiobook version of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books. Another favorite quote:

“Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love.” J.R.R. Tolkien The Hobbit, pub. 1937

“The powers of the president will not be questioned.” Stephen Miller
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.” Theodore Roosevelt

“I wish it need not have happened in my time,” said Frodo. “So do I,” said Gandalf, “and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.”
J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

It’s was a little cracked to begin with; but, it could’ve been fixed with a few good constitutional amendments.

Two panels. 1st, Musk holding baseball bats in front of pottery labeled “Government”. 2nd, Musk standing over pottery shards saying “Governments Broken”.

I found this image online. bsky.app/profile/amer... Is it okay if I print a few copies? Do you have another version that might print better in grayscale?
