Celle-ci je ne l'avais pas vu venir ! Ça ressemble à une jolie petite percée d'opportunité, non ?

South Korea keeps on being disappointingly not up to the challenge.

Haha, same for me. As a French, I always try to understand what I can before using a translator. And try to remember some words. I feel like I'm making some progress, in addition to learning highly appreciated news from the frontline.

What a surprise to learn that a Russian oligarch close to Putin paid for Junior’s lavish wedding. Who could’ve expected it?

I'm French and can't agree more, whatever the reasons (I've read about pressure from Turkey, Kazakhstan and Azerbaidjan)

I understand and respect that every country is sovereign and free to make its own choices. But seriously... can’t Greece, and even more so SPAIN - which isn’t exactly under threat on the western flank of Europe - really spare some of their Patriot missiles??

I see your point. Except Ukraine does not supply any weapons or military technology to Israel. You're drifting from the initial topic here.

Gosh! How do Ukrainians have the audacity to act against a regime who's been casual̀y supplying Shaheds to Russia for 4 years, using it for bombing Ukrainians cities and civilians? Could Iran's acts have... consequences?

Ukraine attacked by Russia, North Korea and now Iran? They have my full and admirative support more than ever.

Iran's dictatorial regime has been supplying Shaheds to Russia for 4 years, using it for bombing and destroying Ukrainians cities, killing and maiming Ukrainians civilians. Guess what? Acts have consequences. May the Iranian regime burn in hell.

It looks more and more out of control, that's wonderful. I have this growing feeling of watching a runaway train speeding toward a cliff. Looking forward seeing it crash and burn with a loud Kaboom.

There is a not a single day where I don't follow closely the situation in Ukraine. For a lot of people, this is not just news, and we are many in Europe and elsewhere in the world to care and support and look forward to seeing Ukraine prevail over Russia.

johnnada.bsky.social @johnnada.bsky.social · 10/05/2026

Elections in Hungary are very soon ( April 12) and Orban is clearly scared because for the 1st time in 16 years, the polls are not in his favour. I really hope the Hungarians will vote him out.

Also, dead soldiers fighting for Russia but recruited/mobilized (forcibly or not) from Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts are not taken into account here I guess? As well as those from Wagner-like PMCs and probably most foreign mercenaries too.

Dear Mr. Fico, instead of complaining and pressuring Ukraine, why don't you just stop buying Russian oil? You're welcome.

Strong words. Most leaders would agree, but Europe is so frustratingly slow to react properly. I tend to believe Europeans are slow to process and react collectively, but once they do, they are commited.
