Agreed. Having a set day and time to play is the only method that has been effective for maintaining a regular game. We still miss days, but at least everybody knows that Tuesday is game night.

I'm a freelance TTRPG editor. I have one client that was so bad about paying that I told them I would no longer work with them. They came back with an offer to pay up front, before the work was done, and we've gotten along great since then.

I wasn't going to go to Gencon this year, but friends convinced me to. I drove the 8 hours up on Friday, hung out with friends Friday night and Saturday, then drove the 8 hours back on Sunday. Totally worth it to see these wonderful people. My con family are amazing, kind, creative folks.
