NEW GAMING DEMO! Had a brilliant session chez IOAudio last week, honing the characters that Frankie Wakefield created & scripted for me. @donaldpirie.bsky.social worked me HARD! Which is exactly why I was so keen for him to direct me. And Rich is an absolute production wiz - just listen to this!

I've probably missed the boat on this (I really should check BS more often...), which would be a shame as I'm a pro VA of a very similar age to what you're looking for who grew up in Bristol an' speaks like a gert native like.

That's why we did it last 😁 That and the fact that the actors are used to performing with each other so it all felt more natural. There were far more ad libs and between-lines muttering/noises. Basically, we'd got comfortable with wearing our characters and relating to each other.

Just spent a very enjoyable 40 minutes nattering with Brian Kelly about being a part of his brilliant audio drama Hearthfall, audio dramas, acting in them & directing them. You'll see the results in dribs and drabs in the coming months. (You can probably tell from the photo that we had a reet laff)

When a writer gives me fantasy names to pronounce which are, let’s face it, a random keyboard-mash (“the Ksplernat & the Aosirhuagph & the Poiuygfcvbnjk”)…. I give as good as I get! From the recently-released “Alien Robot Space Jesus From The Future” - a very daft audio drama with a good message.
