9 years ago today, at quite a low point in my life, I was invited by a friend of mine to go and see Young Frankenstein: The Musical at the Theatre Royal in Newcastle. That friend had no idea at the time how low I was feeling, the show was brilliant and it really helped me get through a tough time

Watching a great show at the moment from Apple TV, a horror comedy called Widow's Bay, about an island that wants to be the next Martha's Vineyard but has a "little problem". I'm getting Twin Peaks, Silent Hill and Welcome To Night Vale vibes from it. Really good and only 10 episodes!

When the original Transformers movie came out 40 years ago, audiences cried when Optimus Prime died. Now with the anniversary release of the movie coming soon to cinemas, I reckon those cinemas will be flooded because the voice of Optimus Prime has now passed away. RIP Peter Cullen
