John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 15/03/2025I had a couple of long chats with Jerry Moss about music and politics. He donated much of his wealth to good and liberal causes. I assume this very venue exists due to funding from him and and his wife. He’d be outraged. 050

John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 22/02/2025That’s as sweet as can be and delightful to read, but I have the feeling that their breakup is going to be just as intense as their initial meeting. 000
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 16/02/2025I saw him in Barcelona, where played it during both of his two shows. His voice was a bit strained trying to reach some of the notes - it cracked and wavered, which had the odd effect of making the song sound . . . heartbreakingly heartfelt. 100
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 01/02/2025Thank you, Iain! Your show’s great and it was an honour to be on it. 120
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 30/01/2025You’re right, and that’s an incredible crazy song to even attempt to cover in the first place. 020
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 19/12/2024addendum: 2,300 kids, as young as eight years old, while pocketing over $2 million. Many of those kids will suffer for the rest of their lives. 000
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 19/12/2024Giving clemency to the judge who sent children to what functionally amounted to jail in exchange for bribes negates at least 85% of the shit Biden “got done” for me, and I feel I’m being overly generous toward him on that. 000

John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 16/12/2024His DJ stuff, no. I don’t think there’s any of it available anywhere except at McCartney’s shows. He had a band on Atlantic Records called Yum Yum, who’ve just had their one album reissued in expanded form on Omnivore in the US, though. 000
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 15/12/2024My pal Chris is McCartney’s opening DJ, and he invited us to the two shows in Madrid. Paul played for nearly three hours, and that’s after a long rehearsal and a private show for an hour that afternoon. At 82! Not sure how he does it. 130
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 08/12/2024I’m meeting McCartney tomorrow. Got a question or two for him? 100
John Henderson @johnhendersonvlc.bsky.social · 06/12/2024DMS in Plymouth (pressing plant) have been amazing. We’ve used them for nearly all our vinyl. I’d recommend them in a heartbeat. 100
