The endless geography in Utah never senses to amaze. From corner to corner there’s something to explore, discover, and experience. These places give you perspective, and leave you researching how they were formed over a millennia ago. #utah #landscapephotography

Visiting places like this leaves me in a stupor of thought and leads me to researching the mysteries of how concretions like these were formed. While some may follow unoriginal social trends of saying these are “otherworldly”, it’s this world that constantly amazes me. #Badlands #MilkyWay

As I spend more time in the desert, they became more and more meaningful.⁣ ⁣ The soft pastel colors of the ambient sky soaked into the white mudstone of these eroded spires. The arch/hole on the left side particularly caught my eye as a unique feature.

Photography changes the way I visit a place. While others are crowded around a viewing area, I wonder far away, looking for subtle subjects. It allows my conscious to slow down, enjoy more, and connect deeper with my surroundings. #BanffAlberta #CanadianRockies #Canada #BanffNationalPark

Went out to find some salt formations and reflective foregrounds to pair with the amazing C/2023 A3 #Tsu-Atlas #Comet making it's once every 80,000 year appearance. #landscapephotography #sunset

While traveling though Idaho on my way up North, I stopped by these sand dunes that I had been eying for a couple years. Perfectly posed in the distance, the ‘other side’ of the #GrandTetons was in view. It was then that I knew there could be something special here. #sanddunes #sunset #landscape

Possibly one of my favorite images captured during a scouting trip this past September. The sheer scale of this glacial valley is unfathomable. This is a 9 shot panoramic photo stitch and it still doesn't capture the width of the valley in the foreground. #Alaska #fallfoilage #dronephotography

This particular image has alluded me for years. Initially, I was drawn to the perfectly chiseled s-curve if the spine's edge. In recent years, with the increase of water in the area, these desert flowers that were once dormant, have sprung up through the soft sand. #sanddunes #DeathValley #flowers

Although a little past peak, and drying out, I was thrilled to find a couple good patches that made for a beautiful foreground, complimented by the sand dune rising above.

As we drove in the pre-dawn darkness towards this location, this explosion of tones and colors was unexpected. As the sky turned and the clouds rolled by, I scrambled to capture many compositions, not knowing how long it would last. It was a memorable experience exploring these pristine badlands.
