Retired teacher, teacher educator. Now a part-time doctoral student and blog editor. Also a keen hobby woodworker who spends far too much of his pension on new woodworking kit 😁. No DMs thanks.

www.thetimes.com/world/russia... When a former NATO DESACEUR says “Trump is our enemy’s friend,” it’s not rhetoric, it’s a strategic warning from someone who knows how fragile the alliance has become. Europe is now openly preparing for a future where US leadership is no longer guaranteed. #Witkoff

With today’s Reuters piece confirming that the 28-point plan drew directly from a Russian non-paper routed through the Miami channel, the picture shifts again. A foreign draft was shaping the process long before most officials even knew the channel existed. www.reuters.com/world/europe...

Doctoral research is demanding, but so much growth happens when we stop and reflect on the process itself. In my latest Slow Lane Boomer post, I introduce ARC-R: my way of structuring reflection through Awareness, Reframing, Commitment, and Resilience. #PhDSky jluker.substack.com/p/when-resil...

#EduSky #PhDSky Several years ago when teaching MA Ed research methodology modules I’d try to explain “paradigm shift” in terms of aliens landing on Earth and our knowledge of life in the universe. It is much easier now since 20th January 2025 😂. Beam me up Scotty - please!

Oh so true! Saw this in the comments section of today’s FT and it struck home with me in these strange times: "The less talent they have, the more pride, vanity and arrogance they have. All these fools, however, find other fools to applaud them" Erasmus 1509. #StrangeTimes
