You may or may not have noticed this… Most of the uk supermarkets have stopped selling mackerel in tins. Replacing it quietly with shit from South America. I understand this is due to overfishing… But this was quietly done hoping people wouldn’t notice, after-all it says mackerel on the tin…. #shady

A flattened image from a 360 degree taken by my drone of the uncovered Egyptian Halls Glasgow, it's been covered by scaffolding for about 15 plus years. The flattened looks like a widelux attached to the drone. hopefully the 360 which is also here will show.

I was out with my drone this morning. It has been a while. Soon as I put the battery in it stated it was over the class weight. This was every battery. All DJI all marked 249g Anyone else seen this with a firmware update ? DJI mini 4 pro And a gull shat on it in the air 😂 #drone #dji

Glasgow looks really empty in many of my images. It’s a combination of day time, exposure & traffic lights. Day = weekends Time = early Exposure = 30 sec + Traffic lights = I wait & see what the timing is on them and use this time to get the camera in & the shot taken @realitysosubtle.bsky.social

Been too busy setting up my nano reef that I am forgetting my photography. Ikea have recently increased the range of pano frames and are now offering a larger one. I have 3 frames currently on the wall with the smaller version with 3 b&W Thinking of these as a set #filmphotography

Trying the wild farmed flour today along with my usuals. 500g WF 200g malted rye 300g eight grain To this I will add 600ml of water and about 250 ml or starter. Making it reasonably high water content but not too high. Will see how it is in a few days #sourdough #homebaking #breadmaking

I keep three sourdough starters A San Francisco Black Death And a local one. This is the Black Death after nearly 2 months in the fridge un fed I took a tablespoon spoon from it and tossed the rest. It’s now ready to bake from. Such a great starter with a lovely flavour.

I always have found loading dough into the Dutch oven a bit of a booger… I don’t have one of those silicon things to make it easier. So stopped using it for bread for a while. Brainwave Turn it upside down load onto the top It’s a lodge one so has a flat top anyway for using on the stove top Bingo
