Donkey Kong Bananza (2025) EPD8 just doesn't miss. Like do I like it as much as my favorite 3D Marios no, but it's a damn good start of in-house DK that introduces a very fun gameplay loop. I'm gonna try to 100% it but just having beat it I really liked it.

Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler (2023) Level design can be a bit basic but everything else about this is super cool, very fun mix up to the gameplay formula with the upgrading and combos and Magolor is just cool to play as, a fun but short addition to the game

Kirby's Return to Dreamland Deluxe (2023) (Main Campaign) Played the original years ago and not much to say about it as a remake, the new copy abilities are neat idk, but still a fun Kirby game though maybe weaker than the 3DS follow ups in retrospect (but it has Magolor...) Next is the Epilogue

Mob Psycho Season 3 (2022) This took me way too long to get around to and it might be the weakest season due to how loose-end focused it is rather than feeling like a complete package, but with how the story itself ends I can't help but feel very satisfied, it's really so perfect

I haven't updated this in way too long and it's not like there's nothing I could have added but anyway Ace Attorney Spirit of Justice (2016) Better than Dual Destinies though the disparity in case quality feels pretty notable and makes the package feel a tad disjointed, but it has very good highs

Kirby and the Forgotten Land (2022) Kirby and 3D platformers is a combination of things I should probably be more into, but that being said the game definitely found its footing for me and the level design is pretty enjoyable, especially in the post game. 100%ing it seems tedious however.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder (2023) Possibly my favorite 2D Mario? Which, isn't saying a ton I'm much more of a 3D Mario guy, but the badges and the Wonder effects do a lot to shake up the gameplay and mixed with no timer make exploration very fun, I didn't *quite* 100% it but I enjoyed getting close

Mob Psycho 100 Season 2 (2019) Overall better than the first season I think, though not by a ton. I think it really shines in fleshing out the world with new characters and a nice slice of life feel at times, and honing in on its themes and message. Now I get to watch season 3 for the first time.

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD (2025) Can't comment on the port quality but just reviewing the 2010 game really, it's pretty good! I do prefer the original DKC (I should really play 2 and 3) but Retro has a nice vision for the series, definitely a fun challenge (even if I used modern mode)

Bowser's Fury (2021) (100%) Took me a while to play this for some reason but I liked it a lot, the 3D World engine holds it back a little but it's still very fun, maybe the first game I've 100%'d with zero guides used which was a neat experience

Celeste (2018) Another thing finished same day that took me too long, I mean like everyone says it's good, the level design is intuitive and just immaculate even if I got stuck a lot and I really liked the themes and story. I do plan to play the DLC chapters as well as try my hand at the B-sides
