As a lawn guy this homegrown meme is very amusing to me.
The no-yes drake meme. Top panel says “bananas to fix potassium deficiency.” Bottom panel says “4 lbs of muriate of potash.”

Every so often I wonder if we're paying too much for our home and car insurance. We have State Farm, and have had them for nearly 20 years. Shopped American Family through Costco. SF: $5,236 per year. AmFam: $8,543. +$3,307 per year to switch (assuming auto rates don't change after 6 months).
A text table of numbers from my notes, also featured in the post.

What’s better than 1 ad? The same ad 4 times. All the games I have set for the early window are on Fox so I see the same ad four times.

These are the only ones that seem to trigger the screening successfully. The “hey uh this is uh Sam” ones seem intentionally designed to look live and not a recording.

Wild.
This image shows a snapshot of the American League baseball standings, divided into the division leaders and the wild card race.

At the top of the AL, the Toronto Blue Jays lead the East Division with a 68–50 record and a .576 winning percentage. They’ve played evenly in their last ten games, going 5–5. In the Central Division, the Detroit Tigers are on top with a 67–51 record, good for a .568 winning percentage, and they also have a 5–5 record over their last ten games. Leading the West Division are the Houston Astros at 65–52, a .556 winning percentage, with the same 5–5 mark in their last ten.

The wild card standings show the Boston Red Sox and Seattle Mariners tied for the top two spots, each with a 65–53 record and a .551 winning percentage. Both teams are 2.5 games ahead in the wild card race and have been hot recently, each going 8–2 in their last ten games. The New York Yankees are sitting just behind them with a 62–55 record and a .530 winning percentage, but their recent form has been less impressive at 4–6 in their last ten.

I was never as happy to ditch Comcast as our TV provider as when I found out YouTube TV had quad-boxing of sports. My ADHD appreciates this more than I think many will ever understand. Three times a year this hits the spot: college football Saturday, NFL Sunday Ticket, and now March Madness.

Last night during WWE's Royal Rumble, one of the commentators called two gents in the ring "giant meat planets." I can't get that image out of my head. Can you imagine what a meat planet would look like? I can, and it's wild.

I get sidetracked when working on projects all the time. Tonight, my goal was to swap my Google Maps JS API implementation with Radar, so I did. Then I thought, "Why not stop there?" Tonight, I also added a map to the "related" section with color and numerical markers for funsies.
A screenshot of part of a page on brewerysearch.com. The screenshot is of the "Great Breweries to Explore in and around..." section of the page. it depicts a map with a grey pin (the existing location the page talks about) plus five color-and numerically-coded circles that match with the five also-color-and-numerically coded tiles below it. Those tiles are adjacent breweries. The goal is to associate the tiles listed with locations on a map for visual reference.

Does anyone out here work with the IndexNow API? I've got a request like in the first screenshot, but I'm still getting an HTTP 403, as if my key is wrong. Checked another site's setup and it's working great. 🤔

Watching three teams get utterly demolished in the same window of time creates a level of dopamine that I never thought it was possible.
A photograph of a TV, because DRM is such stupid bullshit so here we are in 1993 again. On the TV is a quad box of NFL football games. The top left box features the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants. The Colts have 33 points and the Giants have 42. The top right box features the Dallas Cowboys and the Philadelphia Eagles the Cowboys have seven points and the Eagles have 41. The bottom left box features the New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills the Jets have eight points lol and the bills have 40. The bottom line box features the Carolina Panthers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Panthers have 14 points and the Buccaneers have 48.

You better appreciate this description. I’m gonna throw one of my mini corn dogs at you.
