I have always been interested in poverty. I have driven through ghettos and section 8 neighborhoods. If you want to see poor? I was in the Philippines a few months ago. The poverty there is very real. I will post a few more images.

When I worked in the women’s prisons in Florida I got to the point where I could spot sex trafficked. I ended up getting women pro bono attorneys and many have no criminal history anymore. The prison system didn’t have any problems sending women home with a guy with this criminal history

I might be in criminal justice and conservative. But I have the backs of women. I started this book project a few years ago to help women get a GED in prisons . I am proud of my work. I stopped a rapist from picking up women from prison.

I read this book when I was a teenager. It was a great book and has been with me for 30 years. It is about an American soldier who contracted leprosy and spent the rest of his life in a leper colony in the Philippines. I went there and also married a Filipina. Great book. #bookchallenge

I don’t get the fashion. I was told that when giving someone a drug test they need to wait a single layer of clothes. I thought “duh.. who wears layers?” This guy has droopy pants then underwear then blue shorts under that.
