Last night, I had a very deep chat with our 7yr old about cancer, my prognosis, and what it all means. I've shared it to my Patreon site, where you can read it for free. You can also sign up to help us out with the bills if you feel called to. Thank you.

@cbssports.bsky.social - I don't know if you need to see a doctor, an exterminator, or a priest.

Disgusting game. Buddy Ryan had no respect for the sport.

Additional offensive weapons to stop defenses from focusing 100% on Terry was also a goal of the offseason (a goal met, or at least partially met, by the trade for Deebo)

The Commanders refuse to play in the NFC unless the teams in the NFC give them something in return. None of this would have sounded too outlandish if Snyder were still running the show lol

It feels like Trump's idea of making America great again is to pretend we lost the Cold War.

I like the idea of a minority press secretary and a bipartisan (plus 3rd parties) fact check committee.

2025 is quickly becoming the Year of the Bizarre Airplane Problem. Does anyone else feel like we aren't getting the whole story on this sudden rash of incidents?

I'm not sure Terry Bradshaw knows what team he played for

Correction: the Smurfs consisted of Brown(5'10"), Garrett(5'7") and Virgil Seay(5'8"). The Smurfs were a subset of the Fun Bunch, which also included Monk, Doc Walker and Donnie Warren

Will be making the trip from PA for home games again next year. Sliding one section closer to the 50 by relocating to Sec 325. Proud to be part of the #Commanders Gold Family for a second year!

050

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 10/02/2025

I'm from a time when you fought the hardest against your brothers, but you wanted them to win when they fought someone outside the family. Congrats to the NFC, the NFC East and the Eagles. I hope the #Commanders see you in a lot more NFC Championship games.

030

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

I was there as well. JD's composure and control despite the clock, the sense of defeat in the atmosphere, the near impossibility of success... he was so calm! What a guy

000

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

To be fair, he did catch the ball on a giant burgundy & gold patch of grass with the word COMMANDERS on it.

I get the feeling motivation won't be a problem next season

We need a Comeback Franchise of the Year award

010

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

It'll take a while before Washington gets the respect it deserves. This was an amazing year, and while Jayden was a big part of it, this was a whole team turnaround!

Future? The man is a superstar. Lay the mantle on his shoulders.

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 07/02/2025

The Commanders got so little respect in the voting

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I want to watch the new #LedZeppelin documentary on the big screen, but have no interest in the deafening noise volumes created at IMAX theaters. In my 20s, sure, but I'm in my 50s now, I don't know how much I could handle.

000

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

The officiating has been horrible the past few years - not just in Washington games, but across the board. The refs aren't the reason why the Commanders lost the NFC Championship game, though. Beating AJ/Saquon with Hurts out was already pretty miraculous.

020

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Improve the OL. JD should be running the ball when we want him to, not every time he has to bail out of the pocket to the right.

000

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I think I remember you from the Washington Post Redskins Insider/Football Insider/"The Insider" days. If that's you, high fives - I was KellyInBC/KellyInPA, etc. I was telling those dudes since 2010 that the name was gonna change and got hit with tomatoes :P

010

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Thanks for hitting Lattimore with the 15 yards for losing his helmet. Not that it made a difference - Washington is still a few pieces away from being a legit Super Bowl contender.

000

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I'm not generally a fan of trading for big names, but the right time to do it is when you think that your next three years of draft choices are going to be in the 25th+ pick range. 2025 1st, 2026 1st and Daron Payne might be a good starting offer.

000

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I'm happy to be part of the minority who like the name Commanders. I loved my Redskins, and of course didn't get rid of any gear when the name changed to WFT, but I like the W. What I like most is that the FO, coaching staff and players are building a winning culture around it.

010

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

The internet is still peppered with "they will ALWAYS be the Redskins to ME!" types (these are generally the same folks who don't understand why we aren't naming holidays after confederate generals) - but they seem to be decreasing in number. Winning solves a lot of problems.

I agree with you, but there are limitations. It is not imperative that Lattimore or Cosmi go of the are not 100%. You can afford to be cautious, but not to sit all your starters.

Between the Bears, Eagles and Falcons games, this season alone has been packed with excitement! I'm loving this team :)

I turned 18 in 1991... man, we had the greatest childhoods, from a football perspective - but it set us up for a multi-decade test of faith. I'm proud to have never quit my team - and yes, it's amazing how much change can be made in just one year with the right leadership!

000

John Worrall @john-worrall.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

You deserve to know what a year like this feels like. It felt like this for about 12 years before you came on the scene (not that we're blaming you!). You're REALLY going to enjoy this offseason, when the discussion isn't about how to stop sucking, but about how to make something great even better!

"Perhaps there is a world in which CEOs don’t make $20M, where companies do not seek endless growth, where billions in net income is recognized as enough. Maybe then there wouldn’t be such a divide between what a burger costs to make and what it’s sold for. And maybe that money could go to workers"
