Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 11/09/2025Today we are releasing PayPal and Venmo payouts at Talentir. Fun fact: Every single transaction, even with PayPal & Venmo, is settled internally using USDC & EURC on @Base. This move massively simplifies accounting for us and the agencies we partner with. 010
Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 02/05/2025This should be illegal! One of the worst dark patterns I've seen so far: @clickhouse.com ClickHouse doesn't allow for downgrading tiers. Wanted to test a feature of a higher tier that didn't work as expected, now I'm stuck and can waste a couple of hours creating a new account. 020
Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 01/03/2025Honest opinion. I hate the @tailwindcss.com v4 upgrade. `tailwind.config.ts` was so much cleaner. 021
Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 30/11/2024Anyone have a list of bigger content creators on Bluesky, particularly on the tech side? People like @t3.gg 000
Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 30/11/2024no quite sure how less people would lead to more traction. I think they team is doing a great job of helping people find their audience. I found it very easy to follow a larger number of people who share the same interest. But yes, agree, let's see how sustainable this audience is. 100
Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 30/11/2024It was a bit of a pain tbh. Turbopack should work in next.js 14 as well, no? 000

Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 26/11/2024I wanted to try it but didn‘t manage to upgrade to Next.js 15 yet. Some dependency is breaking the build 🙄 010

Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 25/11/2024yeah true, I wonder if you'd be able to verify by making a tweet and scrape the follower list from the website. 010
Johannes Kares @johanneskares.com · 25/11/2024Yeah, I don't know why no Twitter competitor ever implemented a simple migration feature. Let me just auth with my twitter account and auto-follow everyone who I follow on Twitter as soon as they sign up. 110
