i've been saying so many psychonauts quotes in my daily life these past few weeks...... unfortunately for me some sound so weird out of context that some friends just look at me with sheer confusion written on their faces LOL

For my own sanity I probably need to close my commissions soon, although it is fun my prices are NOT sustainable long term ☹️😭 plus I need to focus on my actual career of interest (comics and kid literature illustrations + merch) My donation-based commissions WILL remain open of course!!!‼️

Do y'all also feel guilty making personal art when you've got commissions to finish? I've been wanting to finish some art for months now but I always feel bad creating for myself because I have commissions in the works, despite always delivering everything on time 😭😭

If you see a popular tiktok post selling this on a phone case, please report the post for "counterfeit goods." I did not give them permission and they stole my artwork. Thank you!!!

Old old doodle of raz #psychonauts #repost #art

Colorful drawing of Razputin Aquato from the game Psychonauts, wearing his outfit from the first game. He's using his levitation ability to roll on a thought bubble, smiling and looking down at the path ahead of him with his arms out for balance.

Extremely loose sketch of the previous drawing.

A Shigure Nao paper cutout commission from last year!! I loved working in this so much; I'm so happy whenever I get the chance to draw people's underrated favourites 🪻💙 #時雨ナオ #UTAU #traditionalart #artcommission

Traditional papercraft painting of Shigure Nao holding an umbrella, while reaching out his arm to touch a blue raincloud, which us surrounded by two smaller white clouds. He has a curious expression on his face, there are cutout hydrangeas in the foreground and the background is a blurry blend of different shades of blue.

Permanently Dreaming - August 2023.
A slightly abstract drawing with rough textures of my original character Silver. Its a portrait that mends with the background as the textures take over. Almost like scratched in, “Permanently Dreaming” is written over him. It was an experimental piece. A couple of stars are drawn in bright green to contrast the dark blue tones.

Digital illustration of chapter/episode 1 “The Green Seat” or “The green Gathering” of the series Mushishi. In a mostly green and purple palette, a collection of events that are significant to the chapter have been drawn. The drawing has been cropped to only show Shinra’s grandmother. She is holding a a cup broken in half. Over her head are those memories of that gathering that gave her this fate.

Doodle from September 2023. A drawing of my original character Silver. He holds his scarf close to his face. The drawing is blue and there’s stars in bright orange and white. He is looking straight at the viewer.

A unfinished piece from May 2023. It pictures a knight lying over a field of flowers. The knight crying over a battle lost, he holds his sword close to him. Light blue armor, broken. A big gap in the chest plate. His brown hair cover his eyes and his mouth closed trying to hold his cries in.

THANK YOUU I TRIED MY BEST!!! I tried making the lines as close to the offical one as possible; the whole thing was dark brown and it had a lot of little grooves and corners so I had to put in some effort to paint it lol 😭😭💖 next is adding the badges but my brother will be making those

....Needless to say I've played the first game twice, watched gameplay of Rhombus of Ruin, bought and finished psychonauts 2 and I've been helping my brother with a Raz cosplay- So far I've painted Raz's bag and today I'll be working on his pilot helmet!! Here's a not so great pic of the bag:

A year ago: I went to a local second hand videogame and toy store, and they had the PS2 version!! So I thought "Oh I remember this game, Dev used to talk about this series a lot- Now's a good chance to finally try it out!!"

Agapi 🌈🍋💫 @johannaagapi.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

Here's how it snowballed: Two years ago, while looking for "weird" ps2 games to play: "Oh Psychonauts, I remember Dev talking about how good it is, and I love the style it has- so why not!" .... Unfortunately my pc started acting up at that time so I barely got to play back then 😭

Agapi 🌈🍋💫 @johannaagapi.bsky.social · 29/11/2024

DUDE. I'VE BEEN WANTING TO THANK YOU, you're basically the reason I got into this series!!!! BLESS YOU for talking about it and how good it is years back, you were SO right 😭😭😭
