From what I remember of Andrew Callaghan before the abuse allegations came out about him , he seemed pseudo-left and more than willing to punch anything further left than him. I definitely think more leftists dislike him than outright conservatives

Is the Muslim man meant to be modeled after Mothin Ali? Because it's gross enough drawing a Nazi-esque caricature, it's even grosser doing it with a real person. Then again, they've given Polanski a hooked nose, and that's not even the first time I've seen a comic do that, so the floors the limit.

The media hacks aren't even original. "I've been a friend of [Name] all my life and it saddens me to say this but he's not the man of the hour, so therefore I'm calling on him to resign" is so overdone people were memeing on it 7 years ago. They're straight up recycling articles and lines.

John Harris proving once again he did, in fact, get everything he wanted. Bro just wants to whine about how unjust the world is while benefiting from it. He doesn't want injustice to ever be resolved. We saw this with Corbyn, now this parasite is doing the same with Polanski.

You're part of the fascistic Labour Party that was giving "Rivers of blood" sorry "Island of Strangers" speeches not long ago.

Honestly, putting on a headset to "Experience what it's like to be Mark Zuckerberg" feels like it's too grounded and mainstream for InfoWars. Like that's some bullshit I can imagine reporters doing on actual mainstream news coverage.

Well yes, if the press weren't biased, wouldn't they be more curious as to why ZiR got so many votes? The press OBVIOUSLY don't consider the views of the supporters of the ZiR motion as legitimate as the views of it's opponents.
000
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Alright, how many times have you seen our unbiased press interview people who supported the ZiR motion? You'd think given that a huge number of people turned out to vote it, any press that actually had interest in not running defence for the Bourgeoisie and Fourth Reich(Israel) would ask questions.

The Greens used to be an irrelevant party with a single seat. Zack has certainly improved the Green Party in every way. We're currently in the midst of a Burnham Bounce, and a mass slander campaign by our vermin Journalist class.

Alright, can you tell me what happened in late 2025 for the Green share of the vote to suddenly go up drastically? And can you tell me how the Green Party was polling before Zack Polanski became leader?

I've seen newspapers trying to push the "Are Greens an antisemitic party" since before the local elections. They've been trying to push this exact line for a while now.

Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
"Despite it being in the middle of a national drop in popularity" Are you dealing with outdated news? Labour is currently still in the midst of a new leader bounce following Burnham replacing Starmer.

Yeah, in one of the safest Labour seats in the country. Holborn & St Pancras was always a long shot, but one that would have been hugely symbolic if won. Labour's percentage went down, and the Greens gained a significant percentage.

It would be both proportionate and correct to say that the people murdered by Bush's warmongering and destabilisation of Iraq and Afghanistan were the primary victims of 9/11. If you were the one politician who actually had the balls to state objective reality over the convenient lie, good on you.

If you need to put liberating in quotes, when prior to it's liberation it had actual fucking death camps in it, I don't know what to say to you. Yes actually I think taking a country with extermination camps, and closing down the camps, is liberating it.

"Famously they had been very pro-west" - The USSR was largely isoloationist prior to the rise of Nazi Germany. If the West was serious about taking out the Nazis, they would have aligned with the USSR. They preferred to sent the Nazis East, and hope it ended up becoming Stalin's problem.
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
In order to build up a military to take on Nazi Germany, he needed to bide his time with them, and so initially agreed to non-aggression.
000
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
Sure, but by that point the war had already been going on. Stalin had already wanted to take out Nazi Germany since Czechoslovakia. The west didn't back him up. Given that the West were unfriendly to him, he felt the need to build up the Soviet military to take on Hitler alone.
200
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
Given that the West had repeatedly indicated it's hopes that Hitler takes out the USSR, Stalin had to effectively manage the Nazi threat on his own terms, since he had no guarantee the West would come to their defence if he was attacked. And that's precisely what he did.
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
Stalin offered a defensive pact against the Third Reich with the West after Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia, but they denied. The stance of most Western countries at the time was to hope that Hitler went East to take out the USSR. That made it clear to the USSR they had no friends.

What the hell are you talking about? The current state commiting genocide, I.E the current Nazi Germany, is ISRAEL. They are the genocidal state, and thus they are the ones, who in this analysis, are the nazis.
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
What benefit to stopping the genocide, would condemning people currently fighting against the genocidal regime bring? I'm sure you'd agree that humanity is currently waging a war against the genocidal state of Israel as it slaughters Palestinians. What would alienating our allies in that war do?
060
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 07/10/2026
There was a correct answer between Hitler and Stalin, and that was Stalin. Stopping the Holocaust was a moral duty that justified collaboration between states that might not normally agree with one another. Likewise, stopping the genocide in Gaza might justify collaboration with other actors.

Interesting how the goalposts shift. Your argument the other day was that the resolution was morally and politically wrong Your argument today is that it's wrong for electability reasons. We know what your actual objections are, so making this argument feels hollow and opportunistic.

What I'm saying is that the Palestinians were mass displaced during the Nakba. If you agree with me, that Palestinians were not a conquering population, and do not bare historic responsibility for the displacement of Jews, how do you square this with what the Israeli state did to them?
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
Alright, if they're not to blame for the displacement, why is displacing them from their homes in Palestine justifiable?
111
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
You're citing a genocide denialist organisation.
000
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
The historic cause of displacement was, and remains, Christian Europeans. The idea that Palestinians are a conquering population is abjectly false, and a convenient lie to justify violence against a civilian population with a shared descent from Judea, who had nothing to do with displacement.
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
The decline of the Jewish population of Palestine was largely at the hands of Crusaders. Modern Palestinians are ethnically and culturally descended from the historic population of Judea, just those who converted to Islam. Blaming Muslims for the displacement of Jews is a false, islamophobic trope.

Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
The Islamic Conquests had broad support from their Jewish population, since they liberated Jerusalem from Byzantine Occupation. Prior to the Islamic conquests, the Byzantines were the colonising population. Muslims kicked out Byzantines and allowed Jews in Jerusalem for the first time in centuries.

"Mostly purged this sentiment out of the party" - Glad to see you Labourite scum still stand by censorship as a political strategy. Moreover, purging got you Starmer, an actual fascist who gives Enoch Powell esque "Rivers of blood" sorry I mean "Island of strangers" speeches.

Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 06/10/2026
Given that the last time a UK party had a progressive leader, people threw tantrums over fabricated racism scandals, and quit the party on mass in a deliberate effort to sabotage his campaign. Zack ABSOLUTELY made the right call here. Don't bow down to pressure. That's how we got Fascist Starmer.

Putting aside that "cancel culture" doesn't strike me as a particularly proletarian concern, like it's something that disproportionately effects micro-celebrities over people who work 9-5. The worst that'll happen to Geller is being slightly less famous. It's barely even a proper consequence.
1460
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
"Normal people have a new tool, the cancel, and we're drunk with power" Yeah, refusing to continue to give views and money to someone who did something harmful is such a weapon. Be careful not to let it corrupt you.

I AM Irish Diaspora, mind you. I just don't think you can claim to speak for your Irish ancestors, when you're actually out of touch with the people actually living in Ireland right now. What gives you that right? To speak on behalf of a culture you're distant from.
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Like, you're an American, a citizen of the world's largest imperial superpower, LARPing that you're doing your Irish ancestors proud by defending the state of Israel. When REAL Irish people (Read: Neither you or me) are one of the most extremely pro-Palestine groups of Europeans on the planet.
110
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
You know that the vast majority of actual Irish people are pro-Palestine right? (As in, people from the Republic of Ireland) And that this is even more strongly pronounced among pro-United Ireland groups. YOU are the one whose out of touch with how actual Irish people think.
200
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
What a lot of Americans seem to forget is that significant amounts of people in the UK have RECENT Irish ancestry. 10% of the population have at least one grandparent who was Irish. Americans love to LARP Irishness, and as a result denigrate people who are ancestrally much more Irish than them.
100
Jogeran @jogeran.bsky.social · 05/10/2026
Maybe you should search for more terms than just "United Ireland"

Yes, I know all about Irish Republicanism. I have many relatives who are Irish Republicans. I am also an Irish Citizen. Are you an Irish Citizen ,or are you one of those Americans who LARPs as being Irish because your great-great-great-great-great grandfather was Irish?
