Thinking about making some remixes instead of original songs. I've only made like 2 remixes ever and I've grown a ton since then. #music #composer #producer #BGM

Just finished my first commission using VGen! It's so much easier than just hoping someone contacts me through discord or bluesky! Thank you @cuhrys.bsky.social for being my test run so I could see how it all works! Can't wait to make more music! #VGenComm #music #composer #producer #commission

Thanks to @rowanyeen.bsky.social For helping me set it up and providing the artist code for me! I couldn't have made this without you!

I officially have a Vgen account now! Having a place to accept commissions easily will hopefully help me grow even more! (I just hope I can use it properly) If any #gamedev people (or anyone else) needs music for their projects, you know where to look! #music #videogames #composer vgen.co/Jofes

Finally had a commission done so I could have a real banner for places like here and YouTube! It was made by @lynnesgalaxy.bsky.social and it's fantastic! I'm gonna push forwards to be the best composer I can be and I hope high quality art like this will help me achieve that!

A brown haired man with headphones on, and a yellow shirt and black vest faces left holding a conductors baton and out of the baton comes a musical staff that wraps around the screen with various musical notes. The background is blue and on the edges are yellow paint splotches.

Well I didn’t quite reach my top 10% goal that I had set for myself. Missed it by 8 placements. Still, 28th out of 200 isn’t bad and I got 8th in storytelling which is the category I wanted to do best in. #music #ostcomposingjam #composer #producer

My entry in OST jam 9 is called "Of Humans, Harpies, and Hybrids" It's 8 songs and 17 minutes long. Some of my best work. You can listen to the full thing on YouTube, I would really appreciate it! Video editing by @andyblarg.bsky.social #music #Composer #producer www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zyc...

I wanted to practice writing music to match characters so some friends gave me their OCs to practice with and I ended up making 8 songs in a week. It was a ton of fun and I got to write in a lot of styles that I wouldn't normally so it was a great exercise. #music www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlKk...

Watching the Gameoverse pilot and all I can hear in the music is banjo kazooie references like Atlantis, treasure trove, gruntys lair, and others. @grantkirkhope.bsky.social does it again with the best music ever. His music is the biggest reason I wanted to watch the pilot.

I love medleys. I wrote one myself and it was WAY harder than I was expecting it to be. Even so, it ended up becoming one of if not my absolute favorite things to make because it really felt like a culmination of everything.

Mario Galaxy song ranking video DONE! The editing part didn't take too long thanks to having all the resources ready and organized. It releases on April 1st, the same day the Mario Galaxy Movie comes out! Pixel art I made for my original song (Spinning looks jank but it was funny so I kept it.)

My plans for these Mario galaxy songs keep changing. Originally I was gonna do 2. Then stuff came up so I made it just one. Then the stuff that came up got cancelled so I started working on the second song. And now I got really sick and I don’t know if I have time to make the final one. Annoying.

I was on a team for music in the 7 day roguelike but unfortunately the lead developer had to end early so I never really even got to get started on it. Knowing you are in it makes me a little more disappointed I didn’t get to participate.

I said in my last post that I decided to only make 1 song for my Mario galaxy ranking, but time actually freed up a lot more for me than I was expecting so maybe I can do the 2 songs like I planned at the start! #music #nintendo #composer #producer #mario

I’ve finished my original song for my Mario galaxy song ranking video. I had originally planed to make 2 songs but school is getting busier and other things came up so just 1 will have to do. I've finished the script for each entry on my Mario Galaxy song ranking. I've still got to make the ending and outro stuff, but I want to make my original songs first since I want to explain my process in the video. Definitely the longest video I've ever made. #music #nintendo #videogames #composer

Alrighty I’m back to working on my Mario Galaxy song ranking! 78 songs to rank and I’ve got until the movie comes out April 1st to finish it. It’s going to be by far my longest video yet! Unfortunate how difficult my current school semester is though 😩 #music #videogames #mario #nintendo #composer

Lowkey thinking about making a Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 song ranking. It would be a great deal larger than my 3d Zelda dungeon one but Galaxy has a top 10 OST ever. Plus I could release it when the movie comes out for some nice relevancy. #music #mario #youtube #composer #producer #nintendo
