Ehhh it shows the first post, and the latest couple of posts, and I can choose to expand. I think for a thread of connected posts, it's appropriate!

I see him around a lot! For the first few months, my pals and I nicknamed him the Kelvingrove Vampire, because of his style and penchant to sit and pose around the bridges in the park! Fantastic photo!

Years in the making, I finally have a working prototype of my Camera GBD-M2 (previously shared as Game Boy Camera M2). A sequel to the Game Boy Camera M1, this new redesign uses original Game Boy Pocket & Game Boy Camera chips into a camera-like shape roughly the same size as the Ricoh GR III.

A photo of the Camera GBD-M2 back, in my hand with grass in the background. It's attached to a camera strap.

They're handing out an exclusive in-game emblem for any players who recorded playtime during every major expansion of D2, so I thought I'd check my eligibility. 1145 hours total in 9 years! I don't remember taking it easy during WQ, but thinking back, I didn't put much time in those seasons...

Jof @jofamo.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

They've been carefully sowing a lot of seeds for the future of the franchise, and I think we're close to seeing some of that bear fruit. Incorporating characters from the IDW comics, dipping back into dormant but fan-favourite concepts like Chao etc. Very interested to see what comes next!

Jof @jofamo.bsky.social · 04/06/2026

I'd argue that between '06 and say... Frontiers, certain decisions really eroded a lot of the franchise's foundations. However since then, they've been putting in a lot of good work to re-establish the core of the series, characters etc.

I’m back with another Pokémon illustration! A little while back I’d noticed that both Kingambit and Aegislash shared many design similarities. I wanted to revisit the Tag Team concept and this pair had been floating around in my mind for a while now. I think they make a sharp duo! #pokémon

Jof @jofamo.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

When Aegislash and Kingambit meet, a fierce clash usually ensues - blade against blade. And yet, this pair seem to have put their differences aside... Could it be that they’ve teamed up to face off against a greater threat? Or perhaps the Kingambit has tricked Aegislash into a treacherous truce?

On 10 June 2024, for 10 hours of my six-week trip, I sat in the dark in a stranger's house, playing through the end of Destiny 2 and the Light & Dark sage - and it was glorious!

So, through a bit of digging on some shady Japanese ad site, I found a solution - A guy in Hiroshima who was offering his apartment (and gaming PC) for rent. I reached out and shared my plight with him, and through some messy translations we struck a deal.

One of my fondest memories was of being in Japan in 2024 when The Final Shape was released. I was right in the middle of a six-week solo trip across the country. I was away from my PC, and had such major FOMO of missing out on the ending of a 9 year journey, or worse - being spoiled.

So Destiny 2 is coming to an end without a future announcement, eh? So bittersweet. I think it was 2015 when I first started playing Destiny, back when I got a PS4 and House of Wolves released. Hundreds of hours spent in that universe, but not an ounce of regret. An absolutely legendary game.

As we roll into the second day of our Kickstarter, we wanted to start teasing more of what is in the book. You can expect to see a chapter on Satoshi Tajiri, exploring the origins and inspiration for Pokemon, and some chatter on games that Game Freak worked on whilst creating their Magnum Opus.

The way this Apple II rooftop cityscape draws itself in and then sweeps across the screen is very pleasing to the eye. The traffic and skyscraper lights twinkling away very much build some lovely atmosphere and look lovely in their own right. 📺: D-Generation, 1989 (Unreleased prototype)
