I think a lot about how the comics industry that I wanted to break into doesn't actually exist anymore, and how to adjust my expectations, goals, and priorities accordingly. We're in a transitional time, and it's our job as creators to cultivate the landscape to be fertile for the future

1,000% this! Also, and I say this as a person who has many comics on Marvel Unlimited, this will impact the revenue stream of creators. Daredevil: Unleash Hell was removed from digital, and that impacts the bottom line of the creators of that book, myself included.

I don't have many hills I will die on, but one of them is that comic book companies have to stop ceding publishing territory to third parties and letting them taking over that space WHEN YOU COULD CONTROL IT YOURSELF! Yes, this is about Marvel turning its digital comics stuff over to WebToons.

Expect projects like this to become rare. WB and Paramount are being folded into Skydance. Evidence of their unique corporate identities will get scrubbed, as when Disney took over Fox.
