how are you feeling about Figma these days? really curious!

It’s been a bit rough. Claude + Console MCP is still the best way to go, I think!

Re: RAM options, it does appear that 128GB is still available as an option, but you have to opt in for the M5 Ultra – about a $2500 jump.

This video from @joeyabanks.me shows a pretty compelling use of an MCP in Figma. Legit time savings without outsourcing your problem solving/creativity to a robot. www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwUC...

macOS Tahoe reverses the Finder icon for the first time in decades, and I actually don’t *think* it’s something we’ll see changed back. It used to show someone looking at the Mac. The screen was blue, but now the person is, and it feels like a small but intentional shift in focus toward the user.

The new macOS Finder icon from macOS Tahoe. The blue and black faces are flipped compared to the classic version, with the blue now on the side representing the person instead of the screen.

That will only be true if we don’t make the entire operating system Control Center.

Just published a recreation of Apple’s Liquid Glass style on the @figma.com Community! It’s fully editable and built using native Figma effects. Phew, I’ve got a lot to learn about this new style, but this was a really fun one to practice! 🤓 www.figma.com/community/fi...

My only thought is that it begins to naturally prepare us for a future where we have more augmented reality experiences and devices.

Conference: easily the best year. Super organized, felt spacious, and wasn't too overwhelming. Soo nice to see everyone. Feature set: the most packed set of announcements yet, and the first time where I couldn't wait to get home to play with everything they shared.

hmm, I’m curious to hear more. Figma Draw feels like a part of Figma, in the same way that Dev Mode is a part of Figma. Dev Mode has lots of design-specific features that Figma Design doesn’t have, but it’s still Figma, no?

Ooh I’m doing this tomorrow! Love that place.
