Welp, it finally happened... A Fundamentalist Christian (Messianic Jew, which makes it even more ironic) actually said to me today, "I affirm everything Scripture says about slavery is holy, righteous, and good." To be clear, he meant that slavery is okay unless the slave is a fellow Christian.

Only two countries in the world, Iran and Afghanistan, actually have the "Sharia Law" system MAGA fears. And also in Iran, Christians and Jews have protected seats in Parliament. MAGA wants the US to be more restrictive and less diverse in representation... than Iran. Let that sink in...

Saw a post from a Fundamentalist Christian who I know personally to be a raging narcissist that said, "You can't be humiliated if you're humble." That's actually true. But it's also true that you can't be humiliated if you have no shame or self-awareness, believing you are the center of everything.

I know there are Christians who genuinely don't believe that God loves everyone equally (LGBT people, atheists, etc.). I disagree, but there's an intellectual coherence there. What I don't understand are Christians who claim God loves everyone equally, yet still demean and diminish those groups.
