I don't think there was a solid reason for why I was the only one allowed to do Disenchantment stuff, but it was kind of an honor to dive back into this world and style for a little farewell. Plus, I got to draw King Elfo's sword and a very, very tiny window to toss Luci out of.

Elfo attempts to knight a sleeping Fry. I drew his very small sword with a little gem on it!

Dagmar, Gomer, and Fry in the torture dungeon. I believe Dagmar is holding an intenstine yanker? I can't remember. It's very spirally and slinky-ish with a stabby bit on the end.

Bean, Luci, and Elfo cheering on Fry with the rest of the towns people. Behind fry is a block where Bean's head was chopped off. That's the part I drew.

New Futurama x Disenchantment!!! A New New York Yankee in King Elfo's Court!!! This was such a strange episode. We couldn't design new Disenchantment BGs, so everything was pulled from older episodes. Any new asset was designed by me, exclusively as an overlay or as a new prop.

Did you know Disenchantment crossed over with Futurama this week? Because it sure did!!

Black and white comic
Panel 1:
Bart Simpson is talking to Philip. J. Fry while holding his skateboard.

Bart: Hey man, I'm Bart Simpson, who the hell are you?
Fry: Oh, I'm Fry. I'm from another Matt Groening project, but we've been cancelled a few times.

Panel 2:
Both look off to the left as they hear someone call from off-panel.

Off screen: Ooooh Look at me!

Panel 3:
Fry and Bart are looking far into the distance at Luci from Disenchantment, who is slapping his bum mockingly.

Luci: I'm a cancelled Matt Groening project!

Panel 4:
Elfo interrupts Luci, who now looks disgruntled. Fry and Bart wince at each other.

Elfo: I'm Elfo!

I love designing things in 2 steps: a before and after kind of thing. Getting to draw things going wrong is just a fun time.Screenshot from the Futurama episode "Ocean's Three"

New Futurama Episode "Ocean's Three"!!! Of all the water themed things in the episode, the only one I'm really familiar with is Gilligan's Island. Still, for an anthology, I had a lot of fun with this one!

And don't let that bastard Mario tell you his birthday was Mar. 10. Super Mario Bros. debuted on September 13th 1985 on the Nintendo Entertainment System in Japan. This was the game that established Mario's trademark gameplay style away from the original arcade. He's a liar trying to be cute.

I don't even have much to say here. I'm too busy thinking about what order Bender put up posters in. Seriously, how was the last one 6 rows up and 2 rows in? Make it make sense.

#Futurama episode "Lord Nibbler into the Nothingverse"!!! I got to do a lot of classic Futurama locations on this one, but designing a pixelated Nibbler was pretty fun. Though I have absolutely no idea why the last poster Bender put up was 6 rows in and 2 rows up. Bender. How? Why?

Screenshot from Futurama episode "Lord Nibbler into the Nothingverse"

Fry and Leela are in the foreground looking across the street at a tall building Bender has plastered missing posters on from top to bottom. Each poster is a single color, so when viewed from far away the posters make a pixelated Nibbler!

Screenshot from Futurama episode "Lord Nibbler into the Nothingverse"

Close up of Bender standing in front of the poster wall. The last poster he applied was 6 rows in and 2 rows up. How does that make any sense? What order did he glue these in?

For the 3rd episode of Futurama his season, "Our Flag Means Medical Coverage", aside from the glass piano, I was in charge of the the square in the pirate home world and the song sequence!
