The discourse around the pervasive tendency among our political, media, and business elites to accommodate Trump and signal compliance is, in my opinion, focused too much on the idea that they are “obeying because they’re cowards” - as opposed to the idea that many don’t think Trump is all that bad.

I was asked about Polis's support of RFK Jr. In the west there is distrust of the feds as well as a counterculture that has supported both alternative medicine and local food sources. And meanwhile liberals have become reflexive defenders of institutions with close ties to big pharma and big ag.
