Just spoke to them, but as expected, no one there from the webteam that can look into this bc weekend. They have received several emails about this by now so they are aware of the situation but no idea what happened. So we'll have to wait until monday.

I attended a screening of Carmen last week in Luxembourg with a 100 piece orchestra. The 4k restoration looked fabulous and the film even caused some outright laughter. Pola had comedy talent for sure.

Can't find them on BS btw, and they stopped posting on T two years ago. For contact they only list a phone number and email address now + a few odd social media channels no one will probably monitor anyway. I thought that one high profile Eye-person was on BS but can't find her so prob not.

Remains the best of all. Its often screened in Berlin with a live orchestra. At the end of the year there is a real bonanza of German classics; Metropolis, Sunrise, Menschen am Sonntag and several Chaplins at the classic, 1920s Babylon Cinema.

Not sure what the thing is you are looking for, but maybe there is a hint to coca-ine being in it? As with Coco Cola. I do know it has a healing effect for "internal issues" so to speak. The plant extracts seem to fix that.

a contender for my favorite behind-the-scenes photo: The Hunt for Red October crew built their submarine set(s) on top of a hydraulic gimbal, 45 ft above the stage floor, capable of tilting 45 degrees to mimic a sub's movements - Sean Connery said it made him seasick. even the gauges inside worked.

Yeah, I have been saying that too. For a few years now. 😆 Today I almost booked a trip to Berlin for tomorrow for that three day UFA festival. The price of train and hotel at this short notice was a deal breaker, alas. Next month has Carmen in Luxembourg. I booked that one early.

I just saw the not so silent version of Berth Marks. The original sound effects are fabulous. The conductor naming all the stops is so great and I think that most of them these days are still doing just that. Laughed myself silly.
