Good to see Hull Uni performing well in the Times clearing guide league tables. Top 50 for: Economics - 38th, Mechanical Engineering - 39th, Nursing - 7th and Business 47th. I’ve completed 2 short exec ed courses with HUBs in the past 2 years and it is excellent.

Bigger Trees Near Warter - I was very happy to be shown this spot a couple of years ago as it really does look just like the painting, but of course not like a photograph more like the experience. But also kind of like a photograph, very accurate yet almost abstract. Always enjoyed Hockney’s art.

Bloody awful photo choice on BBC News article reporting on the death of Sir Terry Farrell. His design of the Deep in Hull is all about the location and setting. It’s a fantastic building. 1st pic off google image search is much better example.

The Deep in Hull - close cropped so you can’t see the location of the building, looks flat dull grey.

The Deep in Hull show in its location between the Humber and the River Hull. Like a mad pyramid spaceship that’s looks like a space shark. Much more representative of what it is like to experience the building in real life.
