Texas State still the favorite to join, with a possible waiting pattern on the rest. Seems like Gould and Co are really trying to get to the 12 mil per school mark, that’s what could get us Memphis, Tulane, and possibly North Texas. However, due to buyouts they may not join until 2027

Seems that the number is between 10-12 million per school currently. The ability for the Pac-12 enterprises to produce their own content means it’s less money the networks need to spend to produce it and more than can give in media deal.

Gould seems to be negotiating fairly and efficiently, if ESPN wants our basketball they’re going to have to pay for it. ESPN doesn’t want to lose the views they get from Gonzaga, and Fox knows the new MW won’t bring them that kind of attention. UTEP, UNM, and UNLV aren’t Gonzaga

ESPN wants the men’s and women’s basketball and is willing to give approximately 18 football games to the Pac which would more than likely be the 7:30pm pacific time window on ESPN main or ESPN2. They still need to satisfy their other partners in Big 12.
